S.Very happy kitty after getting a shave for the summer months! Amazing and caring staff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in the Waikato
s.Had our dog here for surgery a few years ago and had a positive experience, however, just went back recently for a generic check up. Vet had a brief examination which only took around 5 mins in total but costed us a whopping $175 dollars? I don’t remember paying this much for a generic checkup from a vet, and was in disbelief. I’m sure 2 years ago we paid under $100 for a checkup and can’t believe it has gone up so much now. It definitely isn’t this expensive for a checkup in our neighbourhood vets.
M.The staff here make you feel as if you are their only client .From the moment you walk through the door you are treated with such professionalism and care .Right through my pets treatment I have been kept well informed. At the moment Dr Baumberg is treating my cat and he is not shy of going the extra mile a trait that seems to be consistent with all staff at this clinic. Obviously highly recommend.

A.This is NOT a review but a query. I am in the process of looking for a vet to take over care of my Boy as we have moved. My query is why all the positive feedback received a response from the practice owner but no response to the devastating negative feedback? When “shopping” for a vet this is one of the most vital aspects that we look at.....genuine care and compassion.
R.New to the city and so happy to have found this vet center. They're caring, flexible, informative, and so compassionate. Hope not to need a return visit anytime soon, but feel comforted by the fact we have such a good team to return to should we need to :)
S.Fantastic Vets, our dog is fear reactive and they still have no issue with treating her. they have the patience of saints as Harlequin can be quite difficult !!!
A.I went there to pick up my Snip and Chip $20 Voucher, it is so worth it! The staff are very helpful and to the cat that lives there, I was blown away, he sat at the door waiting for someone to open the door, one of the staff opened the door to let him or her in. O.The staff here are so nice and caring and were extremely kind and sympathetic when my cat had to be put down. They even sent a signed card and a paw print from him as condolences which really went the extra mile!

K.Really stoked, new dog owner here. My dog was injured after hours. I contacted them and sent an email with images of the torn dew claw and they said it wasn't urgent and could wait till tomorrow with the regular vet.we organised this today and the advice from our usual vet seemed weird to me so I called these guys back and they said that our usual vet was right. All round helpful and if we ever change vets, we're definitely coming to this place. Excellent customer service after hours and during standard business hours.

P.I can't believe these guys. The phone is answered fast, questions answered efficiently, frictionless bookings, service with a smile every time, top quality treatment, what more can you ask? The staff remembered our dog and were genuinely interested in how she has been doing.
The only problem with Hamilton Veterinary Services is that I have never been to a doctor surgery that has such amazing service and depth of care. Our dog gets treated better than our children. Perhaps I should start bringing my children along as well...
T.Awesome service, great with my dogs, cats, rats, friendly helpful staff even all the people in the waiting area always seem very happy here, they let me build up my account a little at a time so I have credit in an emergency couldn't ask for a better vets office very highly recommended as this is literally the furthest vet in Hamilton away from my house I aware of and still my vet of choice. Unfortunately our house hold had to have 2 small pets euthanized over the last two years and they are very understanding and compassionate in this situation. A huge thanks guys for being so fantastic!
K.If you have a fur baby this is the place to go for advice support and friendly honest vet care. I trust there assessments and believe they care for my fur baby almost as much as l do. I love that they know my girl and call her by name even when we just drop in. Piper loves to visit and has no fear or anxiety when needing treatment......that l believe says it all.

Also, one of the only vets I know that allow you to keep credit with them! Comes in handy when you have more than one pet
D.Decided to use this vet as my normal vet could not fit me in for my dogs vaccination in time before long weekend. Took him in thinking we will just use the vet for vaccination and continue with old vet after... I had a good experience and have decided to rather use this awesome vet team to look after my dog.

We have loved having Dave as our vet during this time and were somewhat devastated when he recently left but Juliet has now taken over looking after our dogs and she is very welcoming pleasant and very thorough and we feel very comfortable with her and found she is very helpful and approachable.

A.We can not recommend Hamilton Small Animal Vets enough. We often hope we only see the vets for vaccinations. However what you dont count on is needing a team like this when you are going through possibly one of the hardest things you may face in your life.
This is when you will be thankful that you are in the hands of people who truly care.

L.I adopted a rescue dog who got parvo, these vets were awesome and saved her life, she had to stay three days and the cost was way cheaper than what they thought it might be. They could have charged me the full amount, I would never have known. It was nice to deal with an honest firm.
Z.Usually the best vet clinic in Hamilton. Very professional and caring. On our last visit we took our guinea pig in as it was distressed with breathing problems. We are unsure about the vets knowledge of guineas however as he was reaching 5 yrs old we felt it was best to put him down. So we recommend you ask for a vet who specialises in your particular type of animal.

T.Linley is so brilliant with our timid pup and Juliet is such a thorough caring vet. Really couldn't ask for more in a vet clinic. And love that they keep inviting us to bring her in just to make her comfortable so when she does actually have to have something done she doesn't see it as a scary place. Will definitely be bringing our other 5 animals here when they need to see a vet!
C.I have nothing but praise for the team at this place for all that they did for one of our own cats. - We found
Powder close to death with a fractured spine and displaced pelvis following a dog attack. He had lost function in his rear legs, bowel and bladder and even Dr Ian Millward, the vet specialist had significant doubts about both the short and long term prognosis. We had to wait 10 days before Powder was even in a stable enough condition to operate on. After the operation to fix the spinal fracture and remix the pelvis, it was doubtful that Powder would regain bladder and bowel function. - However Powder regained full control within a matter of weeks, and now 4 months on from the operation, I am glad to report that he has fully returned to his old self and it is hard to believe how close to death he came. - The fact of the matter is that this would not have been possible without the skill, care and attention of Dr Millward and the staff here. Thank you. I am forever grateful.
