T.Service and staffs are amazing. The vet was so sympathetic and kind towards us and specially towards our loved fur baby. It was a bit of a comfort to know that our fur baby was treated with care, kindness and respect up to her very last minute. Thank you ❤
R.Would be nicer if they actually ran on time or what's the point of making an appointment and getting there on time only to wait for over half an hour with a highly stressed sick animal. However the vets skills and bed side manner are what make me give this place a 5 star. I have had many pets go here for well over a decade. They were also extremely kind and sent a heartfelt card when I had to put my pet down, it meant alot.
c.This vet clinic is amazing my 14 yr old cat has been a frequent visitor with some underlying health issues and they always manage to fit him in if needed. And they will call me back if I ask for a chat with the vet. I also had to say goodbye to my beautiful 8 yr old Groodle last year as she had cancer and they were so kind and caring and made sure she was comfortable to the end. I cant say enough good things about them after having a bad experience with a other Vet Clinic in Hamilton. Top Vet team !!
A.New to the area and so had to find a new vet. Took my dog here to see Vet Pippa, she was so lovely and patient with him. Definitely be back here for further vet care ❤️

D.I took my cat in twice for a sore paw. Both times the vets were attentive, gentle and thorough and were open to taking guidance from me, as the pet owner, as to next steps. They called back when they said they would, and kept in mind limitations as to when I would be available to talk. I was very happy.

T.Always a good experience here. Caring and knowledgeable staff, who can deal with domestic pets well and treat common injuries and illnesses. No experience with their capability in other areas, but I assume it's of the same standard. If you're going to be a frequent visitor it's worth looking into some of their pet care programs - over time, the savings can add up significantly.
L.I'm from out of town, visited these guys due to my small town vets not being very attentive or enthusted. After my 12yo chihuahua was hit by a car 2mths ago i found this practise very informative very knowledgeable, helpful, professional & to the point communication. When you have your pets life in your hands, you want professional all-round care & advice & these guys are exactly that. They have a few professions under the 1 roof so its very convenient. My little man's just had tooth surgery there 4 days ago as well, along with his medication he had a follow-up call to check on his progress at home.It's the small things that mean alot. So I'm here to stay!
If you want what you'd expect from an animals practice then this is the place 👌

I love how I can book online as I am not confident with phone calls. They also make sure that I understand everything when I ask them questions about things I don't understand.

E.Very happy with the vet service here. You can ring and ask questions and they will happily answer and advise. The cattery there is also great! It is a lovely space they let you inspect and the cats all get their own room. Cats from the same family can share rooms! They have limited opening hours but I have been able to drop off earlier by arrangement.

Amazingly caring vet practice. Wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable/helpful nurses and vets. Very reassuring in times of panic and uncertainty.
Able to work within your budget.
Too often practices feel like they only care about money. Well priced.
They saw our cat who had been missing for five days and very weak and everyone was concerned and asking about her when she came out and next day when we went back for painkillers. Other nurses stopped to listen when we were discussing issues. Felt very welcome. Despite the scare with our beloved Stella we left with a smile on our dial. We have found our vet.

Q.Great veterinary clinic with friendly and caring staff members. Conveniently located in the city with ample parking space. Also has a small selection of pet accessories and food for purchase. All the vets I've dealt with so far have been great with our cat.
B.Stuart Laurie was the vet who had the task of putting our old cat to sleep.
He was very kind, empathetic,and gentle with the elderly cat; explained the process thoroughly, and gave us time to say goodbye.

I have always found their staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional, empathetic, and approachable. As a former veterinary nurse I am picky about where I take my own pets and with Pet Doctors I know I will always have access to the highest quality care. The FitPet club allows me to continue to care for my pets in the same way I was able to whilst still nursing. Pet Doctors Tristram Street always provide excellent service, no matter how busy, and I would definitely recommend this practice to those looking for care for their pets.

K.Visit was for a worst possible scenario when it's for a family pet, they were compassionate and respectful allowing the farewell process to be done with being rushed. Explained each step and gave all family members the option to be around and ready for what each and every stage if they wanted to be.
J.As a newcomer to life in Hamilton I have needed to have vet support for two major problems involving my two 13 year old dachshunds one resulting in the need to euthanise my seriously ill Max and the other for surgery and successful follow-up treatment for his brother Toby. During all my dealings with the vets involved, particularly Aileen Russell and Chris McCaughan and the nurses, receptionists and specialists I felt a great confidence that I had not felt before in 40 years of using vets, that my animals had the best support they could possibly have received. I am extremely grateful and feel very lucky that I chose to go to a Pet Doctors surgery when I needed help.

N.Pet Doctors recently came to my home to put my cat down of 17 years. I can't recommend them enough from the sensitivity in dealing with the stressful time, to the sympathy card I just received in the mail. A time that is very difficult was made a lot less daunting.
