We have had quite a few dealings with them because we have a few pets. They are always great to deal with and care about the welfare of our animals. Max is an exceptionally good kind and caring vet. He has a great connection with any pet we own. Recently we had to have our cat put down. He knows her so well and it was made easier having Max there to carry out the procedure because it's like the animals belong to him

Couldn't say enough about the fantastic help from the staff and vet. Arrived at Kerikeri from AK for a family funeral at the family homestead . Unfortunately our young Jack Russell (SID) Tackled with a vehicle Tyre parking in the yard during the service. He's very lucky to be here still. The family and SID thank you very much kerikeri veterinary clinic for your help. 👍👍👍👍

Going to the Vets is a pretty stressful experience... not knowing what is wrong with your furbaby can't help but be stressful. However we have had nothing but positive experiences at BOI Vets - regardless of the diagnosis the vets and staff are kind and supportive. We wouldn't send our furbabies anywhere else.

Our local vet service. Good care practices and staff. Managed to still purchase products in Level 3 using their window no contact service.

Thank you to the staff who took great care and understanding with my brothers dog. Unfortunately he passed away on Monday but we were able to spend the weekend with him which we will hold very dear.

I took my nephews lamb here and he was in a condition of 50/50 they took him in immediately without talking about money first which for me showed their passion and care for animals. They saved his life and i so appreciate them. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. Great people.

Great place to check the wellbeing of your animals

Couldn't be a better experience. From the Nurse that welcomed us, to the Nurse that handed our baby back to us, and everyone in between. These professionals truly love animals. Even the statement "Can you see your Mommy?" from the wonderful Nurse whom brought our baby out, shows how much they care about the animals patients. Worth the drive from Whangarei. Thank you so much.

The vet that handled my porsharose(shitzhu) was fabulous. She cared for her with gentleness as it was our first visit. Very thorough with all diagnosis an for once porsharose was calm in herself an lapped up the treats given which showed in its self she was comfortable while there. Thankyou for a wonderful 1st visit an there will be other visits

Amazing in an emergency, even on the weekend.

I didnt have a good experience here last time but i requested to meet with another vet and i am so thankful I did because she was amazing! and very professional!. Our dog peppa isn't very easy to work with shes very fierce and at times aggressive but maren handled her very well and explained the treatment process step by step. She gave awesome advice and was just very welcoming and kind. Best! vet ever thank you!! soo much Maren for helping my peppa will only be taking my dogs to see maren from now on.

I used to go to the vet at Redwoods, but never had great results there. Someone recommended Bay Of Islands Vets and now I can't sing their praises enough!! I called the after hours line one night as my wee dog was quite sick, and Garth was VERY reassuring on the phone, and it wasn't a short and sharp conversation either! I didn't end up having to take my dog in after hours because of his advice, and he even followed up with a call the next morning to check on me & the dog. I also got another follow up phone call from Toni after taking my dog in a month earlier, just to see how he was going after the visit (skin issue) This team is SO thorougher and fantastic customer service! I cannot recommend them enough!!

The vet was so kind to me when I arrived late on a Saturday with a dying piglet that I found on the road. He took it in and euthanised in a dignified manner.
