G.The staff here are so amazing. They will happily give you advice over the phone as well as in store. They are so kind and caring and helpful. I haven't taken my pet into the vet yet but im sure they would be just as great as the front desk staff.
B. H.Awesome vets. We've been to Karaka, Pukekohe and Papakura over the last couple of years and they have all been fantastic. Caring nurses and vets and only do what they need to which helps to keep the cost down where possible.
I. C.Very impressed with how the contactless operation works. Efficient and productive. The receptionists on the phone and at the drop-off area were friendly and helpful. The vet, Nial, was thorough (he also has a sense of humour, correcting my terminology from cat"s arm to cat's front leg!! 🤣🤣) polite, friendly and helpful.

D. K.Paul from this clinic did amazing surgery job on our little Frenchie. Our doggie was treated for brachycephalic airway obstruction syndrome.
Surgery included Vertical wedge excision of external nares (aka "nose job") and shortening of the soft palate. After the surgery our Rocky started to breathe easy and stopped snoring.
We did it as prevention, I recommend not to wait when you Frenchie has a problem - it is much safer to do it when they are young.

D. C.Love these vets. Never a bad experience with them or any staff. They're attentive and even follow up to make sure your pet is doing ok. Each time I've taken a pet in I have had different staff members. All times I have no complaints. I hardly ever give 5 stars, but this place is my forever vet and I highly recommend.
Bonus is that they always make an effort to get you an appointment ASAP and it is well priced.
M. B.Brilliant vets. Easy to book an appointment - I even had to change my appointment the day before due to work commitments and it was a breeze. They were great with my puppy getting his jabs. Doesn’t even bother him going, I think he’d like to stay.. probably because they have treats!

They take amazing care of our pets and in my opinion are the best vets in Auckland, not just Franklin

B. P.Franklin Vets were lovely to deal with, they managed to fit us in for a same day check up and vaccination for a wild kitten with an up front quote of costs which was much appreciated. They also advised us of the best food to buy, the kittens approximate age and gender, and a short term plan for her upcoming vet visits. The staffs expertise and friendliness was outstanding.

R.Went for a check up and vaccination for my kitty who was moaning alot when we arrived , the veterinarian was friendly and helpful , my cat was uncomfortable but no fuss after a quick check up and painless injection we were only five minutes in and out . She recommends that my cat has a bit of tartar issue but due to the cost of that procedure we ended up changing to better biscuits and the water tooth wash thing so hopefully we won't need that procedure in the future, we shall see.

We had to go to Pukekohe Franklin Vets because our local vet in Pokeno is closed in the weekend and our mischievous cat decided to get into a fight on last Saturday!! We were well looked after by Brian and the reception team. Great service all round which makes its easier to hand over our naughty but very loved cat. They are pretty good but there's nothing stand out about them, nothing that makes me want to tell others about my experiences there. They just do their job adequately, which isn't a negative review.

C.Took my cat Timmylea today because of a burst abscess. I registered him there and then as a new patient. I was more than happy with the service. and I was happy to pay the higher fee, seeing as it was a public holiday. Love the idea of a cattery as well!
M. G.We have all of our animals here and have been clients for years. It can be expensive but with the assurance that your pets will be well taken care of short and long term it's well worth it.
S.We will make a special trip to Pukekohe when we need to purchase any drenches or large animal treatments for our cattle, as they have a good selection available. I've been served by numerous counter staff at the clinic over the years, none of them are memorable, except for Vicky, Franklin Vets' best asset behind the counter in their large animal department, apart from their very competent team of Vets. She is very knowledgeable, always offers good sound advice and she really cares about the customer and the issue they may need to treat. We've seen her assisting others while we've been browsing products, and it's not just us she's great with. We've had several of their large animal Vets visit us and they are very capable and nice guys.

J. “. O.Our cat (peanut) got sick, we were devastated. We all cried as we could not afford the treatment peanut needed, really sad that in life most things come down to money. Really sad moment for us, the staff at Franklin vets were amazing, they dealt with our situation the best I've ever experienced at any vet in my life. They even sent us a card via post to basically pass on their condolences for the loss. Amazing place and people working there.
