We just had our boy Benji in their emergency care for the night and I must say they were amazing (we did already know this as our cat used to go here and we found them great) we dealt with Billy last night when we took him in and he was fantastic and very thorough with the assessment and actually listened to what our concerns were that another vet had ignored. They were amazing with contact we got a call from Billy last night after test results came back and 2 calls this morning from the staff looking after Benji (sorry forgot her name it was all a bit stressful) and she was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend taking pets here. Thank you for making our boy better, he's very tired but at least he can walk on his own now. He's currently snuggled on his blanket in front of the fire resting as per pic

Since moving to Kaiapoi I was worried about finding a good vet for my fur babies locally. But I found Tara, she is amazing and I am so glad I made the move. By far the best vet I have dealt with. She does really care about them.

Only just moved here from Napier and of course, needed the emergency vet. Was great knowing they were there and with my dog , throughout the night. Fabulous people in every division . Good variety and value in the shop too. Very grateful to have them near .

Service is great! My cat was very at ease to be at RVC and thanks to Liz his bladder irritation was picked up on - this has improved his overall mood and happiness massively since he's been treated for it. :)

I had a stage 5 vet check done on a horse, booking the appointment and completing the paperwork was a breeze. Sam rang me straight after the check to give me his verbal report, and I had the written report within a week. Absolutely would recommend.

We love going to this vet! Everyone who works there is very friendly and really seem to care about the animals. We have very boisterous bully boys who love going to the vet as everyone gives them attention and lots of pets! They always take what we say seriously, communicate very well and help us feel confident in their suggestions and care.

Totally recommend RVC - great friendly, helpful professional staff. Good range of pet products at okay prices. Love the cat clinic - no dog stress - but equally happy with our experience at Kaiapoi clinic.

My old horse, Fred, was put to sleep this week. It was one of the hardest things I've had to do. Matt was the vet who came to us and I couldn't have asked for a kinder, person to have laid Fred to rest. Very professional and compassionate. Thank you Matt, sincerely.

Jose was an absolute dream. Took my sick chicken in with a growth in her throat, they cut it out that day quickly and kept it as affordable as possible with good take home meds and follow up appointments and support. Really impressed with the knowledge and care.

Your care shines all the time. My dog Sam loves coming to the vet to see you, she gets pats and treats and cuddles all the time even if she's still very boisterous... Thank you ❣️

This is probably the best vet service we have used. The staff give good, dependable advice and their approach is realistic and focused on animal and their needs rather than trying to sell you a whole lot of unnecessary check ups and junk to make you feel better than your pet/animal. Fantastic centre too, heaps of parking and glitteringly clean.

I bring my three cats here all time and I won't go anywhere else. All the staff are amazing and so kind. They are all clearly very passionate and skilled at their job. Sometimes I have to be cost conscious and they never make me feel bad for this and always try to accommodate where they can. Highly recommend.

Emergency after hours visit. So it's never going to be great in that situation, but they made it the best it could be under the circumstances. Saw us immediately, very nice vet who was gentle with our scared & injured cat and didn't insist on a bunch of unnecessary expensive extras that weren't required (like our past vet). Highly recommended by the humans! The cat still insists his temperature didnt need taking.

I took my little rat in just now and the vet that saw him was extremely patient, gentle and understanding. She walked me through my slightly paranoid ramblings and educated me. My little boy was absolutely fine in the end and I wasn't even charged for the consultation. For a poor student this means a lot!

I was so impressed with Sam Burrows who visited us to attend to our horse Al who needed stitches to his face. On top of this already stressful situation, my step daughter had an accident and Sam helped me with looking after her and then he attended to the horse when the ambulance arrived. Thanks Sam for your kindness and attending to our horse with such expertise.

Excellent care as usual. You are all doing a great job with friendly, accessible and knowledgeable staff from the front desk to the hospital. It would be lovely if you got some govt funding to be able to lower your prices 😁, but we can't have everything.

The staff here a amazing. We recently had to have our cat put to sleep and the staff there let us have as much time as we needed both before and afterwards. We now have a puppy and the Vet who did our puppy's vaccination answered all the questions we had.

Rangiora Vet Centre is really great to deal with. I have been taking my little dog there since I got her 2 years ago and they have been excellent. We went to puppy Preschool and it was very informative and good fun. The staff are wonderful to deal with and are super friendly, helpful and caring. The large animal vets are also great and were lovely to deal with when I had a sick lamb. I definitely recommend the Rangiora Vet Centre.

Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Peanut our ragdoll mischief kitten. The lovely nurses and vets you have at RVC are compassionate and knowledgeable. From the moment we walked in the door to when we came back to pick peanut up we felt at ease and relaxed and peanut was more than just cared for. We were sent home with pain relief and antibiotics for Peanut and all was explained and written easily for him to be cared for at home. Such smiley lovely girls . Thankyou. And Peanut is doing really well now too.

Simply the best! This is by far the best vet clinic I have ever come accross, the service was fantastic! I really feel like they care. The staff are very friendly and compassionate, and went out of their way to help and advise me, 5 stars isn't enough for this clinic and their wonderful staff! I very highly recommend them

The staff have always been friendly and fantastic with my cat but today I was disappointed and extremely frustrated when I requested they order more stock for the food my cat eats. I explained I have been coming for the last two years every month and I am either taking the last food bag off the shelf or the item is out of stock, hence the request to order more. The response: "It's not a high demand item so just call to check we have it in stock." My response is, if that's your attitude i.e. to ignore a customer's request and then inconvenience them further by making them call each time, then I'm taking my business elsewhere. The item may not be in high demand but you still are not ordering enough if, it is out of stock or I am taking the last one each month. This is really sad because I think this place is amazing in every other aspect.

Such a welcoming environment, friendly staff, easy access, extremely pet friendly with water bowls situated around the place, and a great horse/stock vet at the back of the main building. Highly recommend!

My dogs were getting fixed today and one of them is so scared of the vets but the staff were amazing with them and treated them with so much care. They definitely have gone the extra mile by having a plan before I took them in to accommodate my scared dog. Highly recommended rangiora vets

I've been there twice so far and in both instances was greeted with a friendly face. Both the vet and the receptionist were professional in their work and I was there for no longer than I needed to be.

Very caring, patient. They did everything to make something that was unpleasant as dignified and listen to a very tired owner who had away and travel all day with the expectation of been greeted by a happy purring cat. Not one that had been run over and crawed its way to the front door.

I recently returned from Nelson where Arnies vet was very expensive. RVC medication prices are much kinder on your pocket. Last week I had to put my best friend to sleep at RVC. Thankyou to Josie and her colleague for your help, caring support and for crying with me. And thankyou to the front counter ladies for your empathy while I stood there and cried. It was a tough day.

RVC has helped us with our cat Matai who unfortunately has been put down, during the last six weeks RVC have been fantastic with their service and help with our cat and working out what was making her so unwell. Great for emergencies unless they happen after hours then you get sent to Christchurch. Staffing depends on who you get. Dr jolly is great! Others not so much. Very expensive. Great building
