They have been looking after my wee Pikachu who has a rare disorder. Jo, Anna, Bailey, Holly are just what Pikachu needed.
The care & clinical aspect of Pikachu's care is above reproach. What makes this vet group exceptional is the continuity of care, the personal touch & because its a smaller organisation you get the one to one. They discuss all options, they listen & take on any aspect of your fur baby.
They have taken such amazing care of Pikachu. I trust them impeccably.
I recommend Stratford vets without any reservations.
And you too will appreciate their care, professionalism & honesty.

B.I had dealings with Taranaki Vets in Stratford a few times, always in regards to my kunekune pigs. The personal service has been very good with a quick response to a call out request I made on a couple of occasions. Their out of hours service is excellent. I called them recently when one of my sows had a re-occurring infection. The vet who called me back almost immediately remembered the call out over a year ago for the same reason and was able to advice me successfully -and for free - over the phone which really helped my sow.
In the past the quality of their service depended much on which vet I got. I was once asked to inject my boar with antibiotics. Suffice to say the said boar had other ideas and did not stand still long enough for me to inject him. In the last year or two the service has become more consistently good with realistic treatment prescribed such as antibiotic powder.
When one of my boars was terminally ill, the vet who attended was extremely sensitive and caring, realising he was dealing with my pet pig. This made the whole dreaded experience much more bearable.
The receptionist staff, particularly Marge, is very helpful. She once scooped out a whole container of treatment powder to work out how many grams one scoop was so I could administer the right dose for my pig.
R.Solstice (my alpaca), had eaten a poisonous plant. Due to quick response, she survived and was hungry.
L.The Stratford branch staff are amazing in their care an dedication to all animals an their owners. I have received great surport an understanding from the saddest moments to the best an their knowledge is great. What they dont know they will findout so your pet has the best outcome.
