T.Really accomidating to my very timid and anxious dog who does not like people. Very nice to visit a vet that understands not all dogs are fluffy things you can pat, asked before offering treats which is awesome!
Also not crazy expensive like in the city and all staff were super friendly. They also double triple checked my details which was nice to see!
T.We've been taking our pets to this clinic since 1985 when we moved to the Hutt Valley.
At all times, we've received confident, friendly, and compassionate care for all of our animals.
We trust the vets here, and have never felt pressured into making decisions, or making purchases. Advice has always been genuine and in the best interests of each animal.
We thoroughly recommend this vet clinic.
P.Very friendly staff helpful and respectful we had to have our dog put to sleep the staff are very caring and give you as much time as you need. The vet's give you all the information to help you with your decision.

A.I took my 3 cats to see Dr Alexandra Forsyth at Maidstone Vet today and had an awesome experience. The clinic had a clean, welcoming and professional atmosphere from the moment my partner and I walked in the door. They had friendly front desk staff, and a nice waiting area.
Alexandra, our vet, was fantastic! She listened patiently to my concerns about each cat and gave me excellent advice and options. She made giving cats a pill look easy and handled them really well, keeping them as calm and comfortable as possible.
We would not take our cats anywhere else!
R.Busy place on a Saturday! Went their to pick up our cat who was boarding there for2 days while we packed up and moved out of the house.
s.Had to have our old Tom cat put to sleep today. The vet was very compassionate and made our boy as comfortable as possible at the end. Thank you very much for being so humane and understanding at a sad and difficult time. We appreciate it very much.

The treatment and products were reasonably priced too. Great convenient location in the centre of the Upper Hutt shopping area. By far the best veterinary clinic in Upper Hutt.

S.Peter and the team and Maidstone are brilliant to deal with and so reactive in an emergency. They also have great extended hours which works well for people like me who work in town and need to get home before heading in. The fact they are also open on both Saturday and Sunday means you can usually get an appointment the week/day you want. Very up-to-date on the latest studies as well

G.Vet treatment was great. Calling to advise meds ran out and more meds required, was helpful.
Going to pick the meds up, the following day, the service was rude and abrupt. They may not have had meds ready and perhaps busy but that was no reason to blame new staff for the error and telling me that 50 plus people a day, come in asking for meds.
I tried another vet clinic after this experience.
C.I am more than happy with the people that work here.they are always helpful an welcoming.when my muçh loved dog,'zepplin 'got cancer an had to be put to sleep, everyone I had to talk to from the vet's was so nice.I was broken as, an could bearly talk but they still managed interpret what I was trying to say, an responded with empathy. a few days after he had passed on, I got a card from them saying how lucky my dog was to have such carring owners and that they were sorry he had died.it ment so much for them too do that for me it honestly brought a tear to my eyes. it really was such a nice, thoughtful thing to do.I can't say enough to express how much that card ment ,an thank you all at the vets so much for that.so to anyone reading this, I can't express enough how well my animals an myself have been treated by these people.

a.The staff at Maidstone Vets are always friendly and helpful. I have a cat that can be very difficult to handle (he bites when he is scared), and the lovely vets and staff are always very professional and caring (although they probably want to run away when I bring him in!).
Thanks guys, I think your service is great, your smiles are contagious, and your prices are very reasonable. Most of all, you actually care about the animals and that shines through in everything you do.
J.I've been going 2 Maidstone vet since moving 2 U.H 13yrs ago. In that time I've sadly lost a couple of dogs(old age) my last 3yrs ago couldn't get out of car, so they(2) came out 2him, Bulishi was treated like a king. Thort my cat had cancer but was poisoned we think, he spent few days on drip & meds. Thanks 2their caring he recovered & stays close 2hm. Now 2n half Inkubus(boarder collie x Amstaf) gets fussed over once a yr. Even our rabbit we got at U.H pet shop 2/3yrs ago had been fixed there... all in all 100% won't go anywhere else.... THANKS GUYS AT MAIDSTONE 4ALL YOU'VE DONE 4ME & MINE.. Aswell now my mums 12yr old yappy snappy ankle biter lol
