L.Always end up waiting to be seen even though we make appointments every time but the level of care is excellent. Always willing to answer my questions. Always taking good care of my pup. Always listening and providing options. The vets are good at listening to my dogs cues and body language. Highly recommend if you're a local.

J.Excellent service from nurses to vets, all of whom displayed good knowledge of our dog's health and well being from the first visit. Not too pushy with expensive care options and treatment will come with a full write up, including before/after photos. Discharge parts were very helpful, and a refund was sorted when the vet changed the prescribed medication. There's also an excellent range of animal products, and a tank full of turtles to keep anxious masters occupied. Go here to get your animal the best care.

Saskia is a wonderful vet. She genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. She is thorough and ensures animals get the care they need when they are not well.
She is great about following up, to ensure medical plans are working and if they're not, Saskia is willing to talk it out and make new plans for the animal's welfare and health.

E.The team here are so professional and lovely from the receptionists to the vets. You can tell they really care about the animals they work with and they have made us feel at ease each time we have needed to bring our cats in.
They are also really good about letting you know about cost estimates up front so that you don't get any nasty surprises. Highly recommend.

Our lil shaq was comfortable with the vet doctor. She was very helpful and supa friendly to our kitty.
He had his booster shots with combined flea and worming too. Requested if they do inadvance a.ps to assist when needed. Will look into this. Thank u for looking after our lil shaq and wiggle 😊

E.Ray Lord and the professional and friendly team of vets and vet nurses at Upper Hutt Vet Hospital & Cattery on Fergusson Drive have been looking after our three small breed dogs since 2008. (Prior to this we attended a clinic in Kelburn.) The quality of care and service has been first rate since day one whether dealing with the clinical crew or Justine in the main office who is always genuinely helpful, considerate, astute and a pillar of efficiency. My Husband and I cannot recommend Ray and his Team highly enough. They have earned and maintained our complete trust throughout and we have the peace of mind of knowing our much-loved family pets are in the best possible hands. These folks know their stuff and have thoroughly surpassed other veterinary professionals we have dealt with in the past. Recommend highly to all, including those based in the greater region... We would happily travel to continue this relationship!
