D.The staff stayed late, just on the off chance that the cat needed help, and waited for kitty and I to arrive. These folks put your best friends' welfare above their own time, they really care. Top marks.

K.The staff here are all so lovely. Today I had a wonderful experience bringing my 5 month old puppy in to see groomer Jenn for his very first groom. She did an incredible job and I am so grateful. My puppy is currently very scared of strangers but he warmed to her immediately (and didn't bark!!). Highly recommend her. Seriously considering moving vets now. Thank you very much :)

N.This was my first experience with Animates Petone and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and the vet that I saw communicated well and took the time to do a thorough examination. We weren't rushed through as I've experienced before at other places. I was given a lot of detail and had a follow up call with all the information and time to ask questions that I needed. Easily recommend them.
G.Cannot recommend this vet enough. Such kind, friendly staff who are always so excited to see my fur baby, and they remember him from our previous visits which is so lovely. Very clear explanations of medication, they take us through the options (price wise and health wise). We had a scare with our dog having multiple seizures, but luckily he responded to the medication and the team at this vet have been amazing with the follow up care.

Jinx was going in for her annual checkup and vaccinations. Jinx had been worried about her weight but when the vet said "Well she's not obese" her eyes lit up and she could relax while she was poked and prodded.
A fun time was had by all.

k.On 2 occasions last week I took my rescue dogs to Vetcare Petone. Vet Nani was awesome both times and Clyde and Bonnie Girl are now much happier and healthier dogs
S.I used to always go to Lower Hutt Pet Vet but since I bought my kitten from Animates I have started to go to Animates Petone Vet and I wish I had known about them before. Over Christmas and New Year I have had to visit for illness and injury and the team have been awesome, friendly, caring and compassionate and they have helped me complete insurance claims. The pricing is reasonable with no public holiday surcharges. Definately recommend them to you
A.I bought my kitten here in Feb 2015 from Kitten Inn. I have used this vet ever since and they are fantastic, they provide comprehensive and kind care. One vet managed to discover my kittens dislocatable hip at 11 weeks old! I really like the care here and would recommend it.
K.Came home to find my cat with a hole the size of a golf ball in his shoulder. Took him straight in with out an appointment or calling first. They saw him straight away, assessed him and fixed him up the same day and was back home by dinner time. Medications were explained well and their friendly staff are happy to answer any questions any time.
K.Found a stray/abandon female cat that had been dumped in Port Road. Rang these people as I was concerned she was hurt. They happily checked her over for me and looked after her till the SPCA could collect her. Totally recommend this lovey vets for all your loved pets.
