N.Wonderful place to take your pets. All the staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and give great advice. It's never great having to take your little one in when they're sick but they will be well looked after and loved. Very highly recommend
B.Best vet I have ever been to! I saw Michael who (as I understand) started this clinic, and he was absolutely fantastic - So knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and explained everything so well. The receptionist was absolutely lovely. My pup is getting old and will be heading back frequently, and im so happy to know she will be well cared for with fantastic staff

K.Have been taking Tucker for all his kitty needs here for the past 3-4 years and they have always been super accomodating and quick to book him in for an appointment - checkups and general care, teeth and cyst removal. Lovely team and I always know Tucker will be well looked after!
k.Great staff, great service. My dog started peeing blood mid Saturday. Normally this would mean an emergency vet. But Central Vets were open all weekend. They did all the tests onsite, were very thorough and genuinely nice. Doggo is all better now. Thanks Central Vets! Highly recommend.

B.We've taken our little Socksie here for two or three years now. The reception nurses are always super helpful and remember who you are, and the vets are just great; we've found that as well as being really loving toward our cat they also listen to us closely and explain what's happening and our options so well. An awesome little institution.

They have genuinely saved my pets lives a couple times and done it with real care and skill.
Absolutely the best vets in Wellington. No contest.
They even have a shop full of decent products at good prices which is awesome too.
Amazing surgeons and staff. My dog isn’t even scared to go to the vet and she’s had a hard run at times. My previous dogs were the same.
That says the most about the care and genuineness of the staff. Nothing worse than forcing a sick dog to go into the vet when they don’t understand. Here they seem to just accept they’re getting helped and loved.

F.Just want to add what a great addition the new Vet Nick is! I was so impressed by his ease and sensitivity to my dogs problems and the way he resolved them! He followed through with a call and nothing was a bother, didn't hurry me up and listened carefully. Good choice in this guy Central Vets!! I have always had a great experience from them. Tender and caring and came to my home when we had to farewell our cat. The animals are feeling comfortable there as well and my dog can't wait to get in the door! Always a good sign.

Every time I have taken her there for treatment it has been excellent.
They are gentle with her and thorough in their examinations, and communicate very clearly what is ok or not and what needs to be done.

R.Looking for a great vet? Look no further! Professional! Expertise! My dog/fur child ate something non biodegradable the treatments offered were awesome. However, in the end an operation was unavoidable. Aaron is a GREAT surgeon my dog's just like new. Sophie and the other staff gave my dog plenty of attention during her long stay. Kerry kindly agreed to a weekly payment option. THANK-YOU EVERYONE!
S.Staff are caring and compassionate. When our cat was very unwell we were kept regularly updated and given realistic on going care options. Best vet we have been to in over 30 yrs of pet ownership.

M.My cat Pudding had 10 of her teeth extracted today by Aaron and his team, and I'm surprised to see her doing incredibly well already. No effect of anaesthetic at all, eats and walks around normal! All staff I have interacted here are kind and professional 👍
S.Have used Central Vets for well over a decade & not once have I had an adverse experience...even when I had to get Posh ( My CPL Foster ) put down... Kerry came to us at home....it was one of the hardest things I've ever gone thru but Kerry was their for us the whole way...Kerry from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for everything.....the team are efficient.....fantastic...Friendly and nothing is ever a problem...highly RECOMMEND this practice :-)
