Gizmo felt like a star even though it was just a checkup and her inoculations. Lovely kind clinic.

Vets that remember pets are the best. Pet Doctors Thorndon may seem like a chain offering, but you’ll be pretty pleased with the vet and nurses recalling visits months apart. While vets normally make most of their profit margins from up selling, Pet Doctors Thorndon doesn’t overdo it, so you walk aware not feeling pressured into perhaps indulgent procedures. Pet surgeries are well managed with lots of information from the outset, options to manage costs during surgeries, and outpatient care that will see dopey big happy cats and dogs returned to their owners. Go here for quality veterinary care, with a clean waiting room and enjoy the fuel discounts on your way out!

I couldn't recommend the Pet Doctors at Thorndon highly enough. Their customer service is excellent and the care and attention the vet gave our cat was so lovely.

The staff here were great. Took my cat in very quickly during an emergency and gave him great care.

These guys are fantastic. When my dog was dying and had to stay with them for a couple days every couple hours they would call with updates on how he was doing. The vet Tracey was also incredibly nice and really helped make a difficult time for us a little easier. I cannot thank these people enough for helping me and my friend.

Incredibly caring and kind staff. We have taken our dog here for over 10 years. Both Tracy and Eve are knowledgeable and give great advice. We just got a new puppy and will be taking him here too :)

The team here are fantastic, they identified a form of cancer in my cat that other vets hadn’t been able to diagnose - she’s doing well now it’s gone! It’s easy to see that they all really love animals, and I know my cat is in good hands whenever we visit - highly recommend!!

Thorndon Pet Doctors are superb. Service is always exceptional, with professional and caring advice. They've helped us sort out troubles with our two cats in a very empathetic manner. They even popped over to the pet store with me and showed me what they recommend for distracting a teenage cat from an older and quieter cat. They have our full confidence and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a vet.

Pet doctors are amazing! Our pets aren't big fans of going to the vet but the staff at pet doctors are so great with animals and are great at making them feel more comfortable. I love that they see Guinea pigs too. Our guinea pigs were doted over by the vet and they gave us lots of great advice.

Staff are friendly and competent. I like the reminders for vaccinations and the extra care taken when my dog has had issues including after hours calls. Been a customer for 6 years, and although there is a different vet each time, the service remains great.

Eve and the team at Pet Doctors Thorndon provide amazing care for your animals, as well as wonderful support and guidance to pet owners. The quality of care they show both pets and owners truly is incredible. I am always left reassured that if my fur baby needs to stay there for a prolonged period of time he will be well loved, cuddled and cared for. I recommend them to everyone I know who has a pet or is thinking about owning a pet.

Brought a poor wee old cat found on the side of the road in for treatment; the lovely vet and vet nurse put her down and out of her misery. Very caring. (Was not chipped and had bern in a poorly state for some time-likely a stray)

My animal family and I have been with Pet Doctors for 10+ years now. They are welcoming and caring to all of my animals and always make us feel better for visiting. My loyalty was cemented with their sensitive treatment of us when it was time to say goodbye to a much loved cat. They know how to look after us owners as well as our babies.

We have been using Pet Doctors for our two cats and two dogs for a while now. The staff have been amazing and are always understanding. They were very compassionate when we had to have our cat put down last year and we all appreciated this. Our two cavoodles don't mind visiting as they know they get a treat after each visit. Mitsi had a knee op two years ago and everyone was great....keep it up all.

Highly recommend Pet Doctors, especially for emergency care. Our wee dog became VERY ill VERY quickly and we received very prompt weekend service. He needed 2 weeks of inpatient care and was very well looked after. It impressed me that Pet Doctors also made use of other speciality services when needed and arranged it for us. Full recovery occurred and following the post recovery advice he has remained healthy and active.

Our three cats have always had A1 care from Pet Doctors. Our senior cat became seriously ill a few years ago and the care he was given was second to none. Eve Falconer arranged for him to have specialist treatment and we were thrilled to have him for an extra five years, only recently having to say goodbye to him - a hard thing to do but made easier by the loving attitude of the staff. Thank you Eve and all the staff - you are greatly appreciated.

Always happy to be there. Until the jab happens. But after treats he is all good again!

Was there for specialist vet appointment, so my first visit. Easy parking upstairs, outside Vet at Capital gateway.Close to good coffee and good kids shopping too.

The pet doctors have treated my stroppy westie beautifully and are the only vets who he likes. They are friendly, empathetic and professional, I would never go anywhere else.

Lovely Vets and Nurses, so friendly and knowledgeable!

I've been visiting Pet Drs Kaiwharawhara for many years now and having owned 3 bullmastiffs, have had many many occasions to visit them. However in 2013 I moved out of Wellington and so began the search for a vet to match the service I was used to receiving from Pet Drs. I tried and tried and couldn't do it, so now I'm back. Last month I introduced my two rehomed boys James and Jed to Dr Eve (sadly we no longer have our bullmastiffs), it was seriously like coming home. Both boys had pretty minor things that needed attending to and Eve responded with her usual gusto. I've not come across another vet that takes such an interest; extremely thorough examinations, calling regularly to see how things are and generally instilling confidence that she's got it under control and will put it right. I can't rate them highly enough. I'd rather travel and go to Pet Drs.

Incredible team, extremely professional and extremely passionate about ALL animals. Best possible care at what I strongly suspect is the lowest price they can manage, never going anywhere else. Thank you!
