D.Amazing owners .. I broke down on my motorbike .. they had no vacancies .. no rooms .. but stored my motorcycle and charged the battery ... Organised another motel for me to stay .... then let a bike mechanic spent 2 hours fixing my bike on there driveway the next day .. big thanks
Checked out a couple rooms .. very tidy and modern

C.I havent stayed there, although i used to work there a few years ago, but i live right next to the motels, with no fence between us. I do recommend them though, they are spotlessly clean & id say it would be a pleasure to stay there, they have several different sized motels, from family sized down to a couple or single, & over the road is a four square store, a Chinese takeaways, who has western foods as well, a laundromat, a butcher, & a cafe/takeaways.

J.Great place to staff. Owners greet you with a smile and very welcoming. The rooms are very nicely decorated and very clean. The bed are so comfortable. You also have the option of a continental breakfast. Looking forward to staying again. Highly recommend Highway Lodge Motel.
T.We stayed here many times over the past 9 years and the hosts are very nice and it has improved alot since they became owners especially sky tv and the wifi. We dont like the dogs barking at the customers. Usually come here when we visit Balclutha. Always had a great stay with them as hosts

I give 1 star less for the bathroom. The shower is designed more for small people and hardly any space for the toiletry bag etc.

Ein sehr tolles sauberes Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Ich gebe 1 Stern weniger für das Bad. Die Dusche ist eher für kleine Leute ausgelegt und kaum Abstellmöglichkeiten für den Kulturbeutel usw.
