i.I attended one Mysore class of Andre while travelling in Auckland, it was a great experience to practice at the shala, the atmosphere is good for yoga practice and Andre is a very experienced teacher, he knew very well when I needed help though it was my first visit, I can't ask for more. Hope to come back to practice again when I got the chance to visit Auckland again. Thanks Andre
L.These guys are awesome - Dee and Andre are a lovely, kind couple who have established a warm and welcoming yoga community at this Centre. It has very close ties with internationally-acclaimed Ashtanga Veteran Peter Sanson who is based in Napier and holds workshops here from time to time when he is back from doing overseas workshops. There is also a nice range of practitioners there - not just young flexible folk - so it is a very authentic, traditional yoga Shala where you will be made to feel part of a big warm family and helped to learn and/or continue your Ashtanga practice.
J.Your expereince at this studio will be as close as you'll get to Mysore right here in Auckland. Dedicated teachers schooled by PK Jois - there's no closer connection to the original birthplace of Ashtanga!. Come and see for yourself. Be warned, you may become addicted!
S.Beautiful shala with really caring teachers that clearly live the practice - be sure to drop in if you practice ashtanga!
