K.I love being part of the Freedom Tribe, and enjoy a wide range of different Pilates classes - both in person at the Taupo Studio, SUP on Lake Taupo, and online via the app when I'm travelling out of town. Melody makes everyone feel welcome and helps each person achieve their own goals and overcome their own challenges. The added bonus of laughter (at every class) and making new friendships has been an unexpected treat that I've never experienced in any other gym or fitness environment. And if you think Pilates is easy... then I challenge you to give SUP Pilates a whirl!

I have gained so much strength from within and it has truely changed the way I look and feel about my body. I have truly never loved my body as much as I do now, and it’s all thanks to Melody & the amazing classes she has available. Her uplifting and bubbly nature makes each class really enjoyable. I have made new friendships with beautiful women and have reconnected with old. So grateful for the space, the time & the quality care Melody has on offer at Freedom Tribe Pilates 💫
M.Where do I begin! before I met melody I absolutely loathed exercise. I thought Pilates was for older people but boy was I wrong! Freedom Pilates has changed my life! She caters for all different ages and each persons individual needs, bonus she does antenatal classes! I have had 2 children both c-sections so have always been self conscious about my tummy pouch! Melody has got me feeling incredible not only on the outside but also on the inside! She is so much more than a pilates teacher, she watches the kids so I can have a decent work out, she is the push I need and pretty much my therapist haha. She is Taupo's Sparkle. Would 100% recommended to anyone and everyone!
S. B.Being new to Taupo (and NZ), Melody and Freedom has allowed me to connect with other like-minded women who have supported me on my health and fitness journey. The biggest turn around for me, through the practice of Pilates, has been a change in the way I treat my body... not just smashing it, but listening to it and nurturing it. Previous trainers have pushed my body to the limit until it broke (CrossFit).
Melody has rehabilitated my body...the obvious physical benefits are the strengthening of joints to relieve arthritic pain from knees, neck and hips. Melody's ability to nurture her tribe emotionally and make us feel loved, supported and invincible is unique! That’s purely Melody and her amazing soul!
The boutique feel of the studio and the wow factor of Melody makes all sessions feel like personal training. She knows our bodies, limitations, motivations, mind set and goals and uses these to get the best out of us in every class 💗
K. N.Just popped in for a class while in town. Melody, who I believe is the owner was my teacher and she was fantastic. Seems very passionate about her job and studio. What a great workout! Pilates reformer is such a great muscle strengthening workout!
J. V.When I joined Freedom Pilates, I did so to strengthen my back and I got so much more, I met a great bunch of ladies have a heap of laughs and as a bonus l lost some weight! I am loving the new app and how easy it is to book into classes, purchase subscriptions or order some merch as my daughter would call it. I travel a bit for work and coming into winter can’t always make the classes so have done some pre loaded on to the app and I have to say they are great, they show all levels and with real people, yes some laughs in the videos too. Would highly recommend!!
L. F.Freedom pilates has so much to offer all sorts of people with different lifestyles. Being a mum of two little ones, I do love to catch a reformer or SUP class when I can however those moments can be few and far between... Luckily Melody has created some amazing videos which you can do from home. They are so professionally done and there is a fantastic range of videos that can help strengthen the parts of the body where us mums need it most. Thanks so much Melody, you are one in a million, such a kind soul who I know really cares about helping people through pilates!

She has given so much advise on healthy eating plans, helped me toned and discover muscles I never knew I had.
