I have been doing Pilates with Sally for just over 2 years first in Orpington then on Zoom
Sally is an amazing teacher with so much experience and knowledge in all aspect of body and posture. Her classes are so great and I feel so good after a session.
Although Sally has now moved to New Zealand the classes and her enthusiasm in teaching us hasn't changed.She still works us hard, encourage us and checks on spotting any problems. I strongly recommend Sally.
I started out with in person classes with Sally a couple of years ago and then transitioned to Zoom last year. I can honestly say that I feel I get the same level of teaching via Zoom as in person, she doesn't miss anything so you can't take it easy behind your computer screen! I've taken Pilates lessons before with other teachers and I realize now that I was actually being taught 'Pilates style' of exercises but Sally teaches proper Pilates. She is great at working to different levels of ability so if you want to work at the bleeding edge of you are capable of you can. I've done many things now that I never expected my body to be able to do! She is great at suggesting adaptations if you have a sore shoulder, knee etc. I've gained a new appreciation for my posture and how to feel my muscles working during exercises and the impact they have on the movements. Sally provides an easy narrative as you are exercising to explain what muscles are being used and how to make sure you are getting the most out of the movement. I currently do 3 Zoom classes a week - including an intermediate mat class and a 30 minute core class and I love them both and finish feeling exhausted sometimes but absolutely great!
Sally is now based in NZ and runs a range of classes. I'm doing the Pilates and core classes. Or at least trying my best to! She is very encouraging and keeps an eye on technique on the zoom system that she uses. It all works well and you'd never know that she's on the other side of the world.
Sally is an excellent Pilates teacher and I would definitely recommend her lessons to anyone thinking of giving Pilates a go or to those who are already very experienced. She is highly qualified and is great at putting you at your ease and adapting the moves if you suffer from any particular issues.
Sally is a great teacher. I have used her hall classes, reformer in her studio at the farm in Orpington England and also on her lawn. Pilates improved my posture amd general movement, and she gives lots of options for different levels and your personal abilities. She praises but also corrects where necessary, as she keeps her eyes on everyone. She uses background music which is non intrusive but lovely. The zoom classes are just as hard and enjoyable as the 'in person' classes before our many lockdowns, and she still, somehow, manages to keep her eyes on us all.
England's loss is New Zealand's gain! I have attended Sally's classes for about 3 years(in the studio and lately on Zoom). Sally is a great teacher: knowledgable,informative,experienced so that she knows how to put the message across in the right way and always has a smile on her face.

Great classes for every level of experience. Sally has a wealth of experience and knowledge making classes fun and challenging . Having experienced both zoom and classes in person I can say both work well. Smaller or private classes on the reformer will inspire you to greater heights.
Sally @Campbellpilates.com is the most able and perceptive Pilates teacher I have ever encountered. She has an experienced eye, which recognises immediately where problems lie, and she targets exercises to reduce stiffness and pain then builds a programme to develop flexibility and strength. Her group classes are for those who wish to take control of their bodies and improve suppleness and power. I'm so happy I found her!
Sally skilfully tailors her classes for individual needs, balancing challenge, fun and success. My strength, flexibility and balance continues to improve and I thoroughly look forward to sessions.
Look no further. Sally's classes - both mat and reformer are fabulous. Sally knows how to push you so that you get the most from Pilates. I look forward to the class each week.
