I attended a 5 day yoga retreat with Suze and it was amazing. I had an injury going into the retreat and Suze catered for this. As a newbie to yoga and meditation it was a great introduction and so many new experiences. Thanks for a wonderful 5 days at Mana Retreat with Suze Allen.

Suze Allen's retreat at Mana was my first. I had booked in when I recognised in myself a deep tiredness that I just couldn't seem to shake. The retreat was such a wonderful, fruitful experience - everything that I had hoped it might be and more! I found Susan a wise and thoughtful teacher, who shares her knowledge and experience of yoga and meditation generously. The group shared lots of laughs and fun, as well as many opportunities to deepen our personal practice. Thank you so much, Suze - I will be back next year.

Super lush - an incredible 3 nights of peace and tranquillity. A perfect mix of yoga and mediation. Scrumptious, nourishing food. A wonderful balance of practice and restoring time utilising the spa, sauna or sitting cosily by the open fire with a good book. This is a must do! I’m a busy working mum - so to have time to be still was a great gift to be had. I’d love to go again!!! The views were breath taking, snow capped mountains and lake views - seriously stunning. Thanks for your incredible wealth of knowledge and gentle but direct approach in teaching - this experience will stay with me forever.

This is the second time I've attended the Mana retreat and I have to say it just keeps getting better. Suze is exceptionally good and her ability to run successful retreats is unsurpassed. The classes involving meditation and asanas can be applied to daily life (with a little effort) and this makes a huge difference to my health and wellbeing. The location, facilities, food and support staff (including Kate) are marvellous, offering a friendly inviting atmosphere that is also affordable. Well worth it. AM

This was probably my fifth Yoga retreat with Susan and yet another life changing experience. The daily yoga and mediation practice recharged my energy containers and increased my resilience to face lives ups and downs in a positive and constructive way. Susan's deep knowledge in meditation and yoga is a gem stone in our busy world. Lake Hawea lodge was a magnificent venue with great views and lovely atmosphere. The Hawea Yoga Retreat was a amazing opportunity to widen and deepen my yoga and meditation practice. Suze led a carefully considered program in a calm, beautiful way that created a wonderful learning experience. The food provided by Evelyn from the Dripping Bowl Wanaka, was delicious, and the group of people I was sharing the retreat with added to this restorative special time.

I recently attended a yoga and meditation retreat at the Mana Retreat Centre run by Suze Allen from the Yoga Ground Studio in Wanaka. Suze is a very experienced teacher and this retreat is one the best I have attended in the 25 years I have been practising yoga. It was suitable for those who have been practicing yoga for some time or for beginners. The instructions given in class are clear and easy to follow. Suze put together a programme which had a perfect balance of yoga and meditation. There was plenty of time to explore the grounds of this beautiful venue and an opportunity to socialise, read a book or spend time alone if that's what you want to do. The venue provides excellent facilities and the vegetarian food was nourishing and delicious. I would highly recommend this retreat.
