I love Yin yoga, it wasn't something I had done before but as someone who struggles to relax this has been life changing for me. From the moment I walk in, to the moment an hour and a half later that I float out, I manage to relax 100%. Francis is so welcoming and knowledgeable that I am able to put my trust in her and just enjoy the session.

Francie's Yin yoga classes are just the best! I discovered the Yin Side about a year ago and had never practiced Yin yoga before. But am completely hooked now.The slow rhythm of the long yoga poses while concentrating on my breathing, with Francie's soothing voice and incredible knowledge guiding me through... every time again I feel myself getting rid of any built-up stress/anxiety and slowly restoring the balance in my body and mind. For me it has become that one moment a week I so much look forward to... So totally recommend Francie and the Yin Side!

Francie is amazing and her yin classes are so dreamy! Such a great way to slow down and make some time for yourself, all while getting a great stretch for your body. Francie is kind, knowledgeable and inclusive. She can give you alternate poses if something doesn't feel right or you have an injury. The yin studio is beautiful and provides a great setting for relaxation. Highly recommended!

What a fabulous experience. I had done lots of yoga in the past and unfortunately had to have a break due to an injury, my physio recommended Yin Yoga. Francie is awesome, kind, gentle, supportive, instructions very clear and what a different style of yoga. Holding the poses and also getting into the meditation as well you feel soo different afterwards would totally recommend..

I hadn’t tried yin yoga before and absolutely loved it! Francie is so friendly and welcoming. She has such a beautiful space which makes you feel so relaxed as soon as you walk in. After a long layoff from yoga with an injury I decided to try the Yin Side. I have found it to be a very restorative practice. Francie makes you feel very welcome and at ease. The studio is very calming and well equipped with bolsters blocks and blankets. Supportive and yet challenging sessions to focus your mind and body and leave you refreshed and relaxed. The most perfect little yoga studio in Northland! I was treated to two gentle and soothing Yin classes on my recent holiday to Paihia. I so enjoy the Yin classes with Francie, she makes it so welcomming comfertable to be there and explains the poses with clear instruction and options for supporting the poses. Best thing to do for yourself is having some me time here and leave feeling relaxed and refreshed! Just love it!
