Highly recommend Vitalis and Roberta. Grateful for their help and support through what was a difficult time. We have our beautiful son and we are forever thankful. After initially being scared of needles I ended up looking forward to the relaxing acupuncture sessions and remember feeling an immediate difference even after the first session.

I just want to say a huge thanks to both Vitalis and Roberta!! They are both such lovely people and I’m not sure we would be having our twins without their help. They make you feel comfortable and they are very professional. I had never had acupuncture before seeing them and my husband and I had been struggling to conceive. We suffered from recurrent miscarriages after our first child and turned to IVF to complete our family. I booked to see Roberta for support at this time and got waaaay more than I bargained for. Roberta was absolutely amazing. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable in all things fertility and pregnancy, but is such a kind and wonderful person as well. So many laughs as well! The acupuncture was so helpful for stress, sleep (and the best naps ever), and boosted my egg production by a ridiculous amount in our second cycle. Alas, IVF didn’t work out for us… until we got pregnant naturally soon after our “last” cycle, and carried to term, supported by Roberta along the way. We have completed our family finally!

I had heard great things about fertility acupuncture and decided to look into it. I was in my mid 30s and my journey had been 3 and a half years with no results, I was becoming disheartened and fertility specialists or my GP did not fill me with hope. Then I met Roberta and she changed my perspective and filled me with hope that we could do this! Sessions with her, if nothing else, were like a counselling session. I always felt so relaxed and looked forward to seeing her each week. We discussed my plan, I changed my GP and my fertility specialist and began to take control of my own pathway. We discussed diet and lifestyle, and I learnt so much about my cycle. Acupuncture did help my cycles and with a little help from some ovulation induction drugs we were eventually successful. After nearly 5 years of trying to conceive, we were Pregnant!. Not only that, we were having TWINS!!! Roberta was a god send during our fertility journey! I don't think we would have persevered without her!! I fully believe that Acupuncture helped me conceive and I highly recommend seeing the team at Vitalis Acupuncture.

I had to be induced at 38 weeks for my second pregnancy (2020). This was a bit of a worry for me as my first one came so naturally and in her own time. I decided to look up what could help me prepare and found Dr Vitalis Acupuncture. (I had no previous acupuncture experience) At the time, I also had trouble sleeping or having a good sleep, and painful hips when sleeping and changing position. I had Roberta treat me for 3 weeks (2x on my 36&37 weeks and 4x on the 38th/final week with the last appointment on the day before the actual day of being induced). I ALWAYS have a great nap during the treatment and it helped with a lot of my pregnancy symptoms. My main aim was that the acupuncture would help me naturally break my waters. On the day of being induced. I went to the hospital, a bit sad that I had to go through this process still. The hospital midwife checked my cervix and felt that its so 'ripe' -meaning 'favourable and stretchy' according to her. So she was able to just break my waters and no need for gels/ hormones and all the waiting for my body to react to that. Two hours later, my babyboy was out. I fully believe that its the acupuncture that helped my cervix to be ready. First thing that came to mind after the birth was that acupuncture sessions with Roberta was soo worth it. My midwife agrees that the acupuncture helped big time! Pricey for my husband lol but will definitely go for it again!

I had been trying for a baby for just over 3 years and feeling pretty defeated after 2 failed rounds of IVF. After a little research I came across Vitalis acupuncture, I was apprehensive at first but what’s the worst that could happen. From my first visit I sat down with Vitalis and explained my situation and I asked all the questions I needed too. It was very clear from the start that Vitalis and Roberta were very passionate about what they do and very knowledgeable. They were able to answer any questions or I had, all the way through my treatment. Throughout my treatment, Roberta has been amazing, so kind through some hard days and very understanding. She takes the time to ask how I am and help me along with any additional problems I may be facing. I found the treatment really relaxing and I often spend the hour asleep or feeling very relaxed. I am please to say I am now 20 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby and have decided to continue my treatment until the end. I decided to write this review as I was a little sceptical at first. I did some research, read some reviews and made the decision to go ahead. It’s the best thing I did and if you are wondering the same.... I highly reccomend this acupuncture clinic, not only for acupuncture but for the highly skilled people working there!

My experience with Dr Roberta at Dr Vitalis Acupuncture was absolutely wonderful. She listened and tailored treatment especially for me and the stage of pregnancy I was at. I felt a lot of relief following treatment and knew that if I didn't, Roberta would be able to help me at my next appointment. The Acupuncture itself was relaxing and calming. Dr Vitalis and Roberta Mek are absolutely amazing. I turned up at their clinic after a failed IVF cycle two months before having another transfer. Dr Vitalis was very knowledgeable and put me at ease straight away; I had intensive acupuncture leading up and during the transfer, then weekly appointments post transfer. I had a successful cycle and continued going to the clinic during pregnancy. I found I was a lot more confident during my pregnancy which came from Roberta and Dr Vitalis I was also able to better manage some high risk pregnancy complications through acupuncture.

I was suffering from terrible Migraines, pain was getting up to 9/10 sometimes, vomiting, can barely stand up, ended up in hospital on numerous occasions. I had tried different medication which sometimes gave me other side effects. It was over taking my life. I decided it was time to try something new and acupuncture was it. I am soooooo happy I did. Dr Vitalis has helped me so much, I have not suffered from a serious migrane for months it has only been slight blurry vision for 2min and then stops and I am fine. I can not recommend acupuncture for migraines enough, I just wish I had done it sooner. Thank you so much.

Before I knew about how acupuncture could help with fertility, I had suffered from 3 miscarriages. My doctor recommended I wait and be referred to a specialist. My friend with a similar history to mine, mentioned she had acupuncture and how it helped with her anxiety. I thought I would try it as a last resort before having specialist intervention. I found out I was pregnant with my 4th pregnancy and immediately rang Dr Vitalis for an appointment, which I was able to come in and start acupuncture the very next day. Dr Vitalis Acupuncture has calmed my nerves and high levels of anxiety, particularly in the first trimester. They were so informative and answered all my questions. Now, heading into my third trimester, I have had a healthy pregnancy and am expecting a healthy baby. I would recommend Dr Vitalis Acupuncture to anyone who is struggling to get pregnant, has had losses or is nervous/anxious about pregnancy. I came to see Dr Vitalis at 33 weeks pregnant to get treatment for restless legs. I had tried everything to relieve my restless legs (massage, osteopath, hot showers, wheatbags + various suggestions online about foods to try etc) I was in need of a decent nights sleep. I have had two acupuncture sessions to date and restless legs are 90% better. Would highly recommend.

I am 32 weeks pregnant now, when I was about 26 weeks I started experiencing severe coccyx pain, I've tried everything: massage, osteopath, physio, got a standing desk at work and changed 3 different special sitting cushions, nothing was really helping. When I was referred to Dr Vitalis, to be honest, I was very sceptic about the acupuncture approach but decided to give it a go since nothing else was working. I felt the difference after about 4 treatments, and after my 6th treatment the pain is barely there now, it's just a little discomfort that is left, I can be active again, and I only regret that I was suffering for so long and didn't turn to acupuncture earlier! I also enjoy these 30-40 minutes during the treatment when I just lie down, pause, clear my mind from all the thoughts, and relax, I sometimes even drift off to sleep during the treatment, the atmosphere at the clinic is very soothing and calming :-)

I came to Dr Vitalis with Bell’s palsy after looking for alternatives to steroids to treat my Bell’s palsy. Half of my face was completely paralysed and now it’s been exactly 3 weeks since my onset of Bell’s palsy and I’m pretty much back to normal in the movement of my face. I couldn’t be happier being able to smile again and to recover in such a short period of time. I’d definitely recommend to go here as soon as possible if you have bells palsy!

Just wanted to let you know how effective the labour induction acupuncture was. Had two treatments Friday and Saturday. Contractions started at midnight Saturday night and baby arrived pain med and intervention free by 10.20am Sunday morning. Thanks so much!

In November I hurt my SIL/Sacro Illiac joint and saw a number of medical professionals who could not take the pain away. I was finally recommended to Dr. Vitalis, and to be honest didn’t have much hope that he would be able to help me given the track record of the other doctors I had seen. After the initial appointment I thought it couldn’t be true that for the first time in over a month I was able to wake up without much pain, over the course of the following two appointments the pain completely went away and I can safely say he will be my first point of call in the future
