I came to Dr. Win after years of visiting doctors and Naturopaths due to some sensations I was experiencing in my stomach and up towards my throat. I thought to just try out acupuncture and after the third session, I started to feel some improvement. I continued with 3 more sessions totaling to 6. I feel so much better now and my stomach is at so much peace. Dr. Win is very knowledgeable in what he does. I have no hesitation in recommending his clinic.

I’ve been to Dr Win a few times now for different things. The most recent was to sort out a niggling pain in the kidney area of my back. He diagnosed it very quickly as a joint issue and sorted it out straight away. He has also treated my husbands chronic knee pain. No more pain. I recommend Dr Win to anyone as he is amazing. My first visit was to treat vertigo. I was really bad and couldn’t get help from my doctor. He sorted it out after one treatment.

I suffered a hip injury this April, went to several Acupuncture clinics and none of them helped with my pain. I approached Dr Win Huang after lockdown. Dr Huang quickly located the root cause which was not even discussed by previous clinics. After one and a half months of treatment, my pain is greatly reduced and Dr Huang says no need for further treatment, just work out. 5 stars! It is hard to come by good acupuncture

Dr Win is incredible and has been helping with some unexplainable nerve damage on my leg. After being told a neurologist was the way to go by a GP, I have instead had four sessions with Dr Win and the problem has all but disappeared. Highly recommend for all your woes!

I had a lot of muscle tension on the left side of my neck and head after a covid booster shot, it affected my hearing (sensation of being blocked). Dr Win is amazing, I've been suffering from gastritis ( or so I thought ) for 4 - 5 months. Turns out, my Chi was blocked, Dr Win explained, my body is like a river, when there's debris blocking its flow, water becomes stagnent, it starts to smell, it attracts mosquito's & bacteria, therefore the water becomes poisonous. He also explained the problem is not in my stomach, it's my Central Nervous System. Dr Win helped me with my hip trauma caused by muscles strain. He also helped me to release the tension in back of my neck, the problem that following me for years as I keep all my stress and tension in my neck. After just few sessons of accupuncture and cupping I feel like another person, it feels like a huge stone fell of from my neck and upper back. My husband has been seeing Dr Win twice a week for the last 3 weeks as he was experiencing sharp pain on the right side of his face. Diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia he was in so much pain. Medication did not help. Surgery was an option but has risks. He could not eat, talk, or wash his face without feeling the sharp pain on the side of his face, which sometimes lasted up to 10 minutes. Felt like an electric shock shooting up and down his face. The pain was quite severe and at times he was so depressed. The treatment he has received from Dr Win has been amazing. I should have went to Dr Win first when I sprained both my wrist while lifting my new born son. It seems to be a common issues named Mummy wrist. My wife booked me in because I did not want to go the path of steroid injection, which it will eventually lead to surgery. At least I can still do lite activity while healing, like hugging your baby. It took a few visits over three weeks to help heal my wrists. Highly recommended if your also seeking other treatment with him. It's a better natural way of healing your body. I saw Dr Win after having ongoing nausea for around a year. The nausea was becoming very disruptive in my day to day life and while some medications were helpful, the side effects from them were oftentimes as undesirable as the nausea itself. I was booked in for an appointment with a neurologist after initial tests could not explain the nausea, with the concern that chronic migraines from my childhood were returning. In an attempt to get some relief in the meantime I thought I'd try acupuncture and visited Dr Win. Dr Win completely resolved the nausea within a couple of sessions. I also noticed an improvement in my migraine aura that had lingered since late childhood. Aside from Dr Win's obvious mastery of acupuncture, he is a deeply respectful man who I felt I could trust from the moment I walked through the door. 4 months ago, my left knee got some problems, I feel the back of my left knee very pain when I stand up after squatting and sitting. My GP checked my left leg and took an X-Ray, but he thought everything is fine and just gave me some painkillers. I came to Dr Win seeking help for a clicking jaw that I've had for more than 15 years. I have tried so many other treatments and had pretty much lost hope. Hi, I really recommend going to Dr. Win, he helped to ease my pain. I have a nerve issue called Small fiber neuropathy which is severe stabbing pain in the whole body and deep muscle pain. Sometimes I cant walk more than 20 minutes because of it. I ruptured a tendon in my shoulder Rotator cuff (full thickness tear) 7 months ago. I have been waiting for ACC to approve surgery, which they have subsequently declined. The long delay further limits the chance of the surgery being fully successful. I had been taking painkillers and anti-inflammatory medication for the pain. Most nights I would wake up about 3 times and the pain in my shoulder would keep me awake for long periods of time. I had limited movement in my shoulder and constant pain, even when walking. I decided to see Dr Win for natural pain relief and to reduce the inflammation. So far I have had 3 sessions and already my pain is significantly reduced, without the need for painkillers or anti-inflammatories, and I am sleeping well. I have full movement range and increased strength in my shoulder. I am continuing the treatment with a goal of healing the shoulder naturally, instead of having invasive surgery requiring 4 months recovery.

Dr Win is amazing!! I have been suffering from Piriformis Syndrome for 6 months. Excellent service which I would highly recommend. Dr Win knows all about pain reducing techniques. I had severe pain in my thoraxic back, which was triggered by gardening. Subsequently after the first three acupuncture treatments the pain was released significantly which has provided great pain relief - it only took a week and a half to get to this point after having suffered and endured pain for eight weeks. We have now discovered the main trigger point is near the shoulder/neck/trapeze area and is deep seated muscular tension, which I am continuing to get treated with a combination of acupuncture and cupping techniques. My aim is to address this issue, then to continue with regular maintenance acupuncture treatments. Physiotherapy is generally my default and preferred method of treatment, however with this being my first time trying acupuncture, I am now a convert! Thank you Dr Win!

I visited Dr Win back in November 2017 due to severe pain in right leg. I had pain in whole leg (thigh, calf and foot). It was so painful and I couldn't walk. Despite seeing several GPs, they could not diagnose it correctly. Dr Win was the first to diagnose it correctly as a herniated disc. I was not experiencing any back pain but Dr Win straight away diagnosed the pain as sciatica. I saw him daily for several weeks and he helped reduce my pain. Dr Win advised early on I needed MRI due to it being back problem. Finally a different GP agreed I had sciatica probably due to herniated disc. I promptly saw a specialist and had MRI. I had surgery on my back asap and came back to see Dr Win to assist me in recovery. Dr Win was a great assistance in helping me improve in my recovery. I had acupuncture, cupping and herbs over a period of time to help improve general health. I definitely recommend Dr Win if you require a drug free approach/alternative to western medicine. Dr Win's acupuncture techniques can be a bit frightening at first but he is very experienced and talented. Severe pain in my left big toe ball joint which ended up with few sleepless nights and stopped playing basketball. Went to 2 physios and a podiatrist which I got told the same thing, ice it and take pain killer if it continues to swell. After a month of exercising the toe area to strengthen it I went back to playing basketball, pain comes back. I happen to be around the new lynn area and found Dr win and decided to give it a try after 15 years since I last did acupuncture, Dr win examined my foot and after the first treatment I couldn’t believe it. I recently had cervical spondylosis diagnosed (arthritis in my neck). The only option to get rid of the pain was an operation or pain killers. I have been experiencing severe back pain for over 9 months, during which time I have seen doctors and specialists to assess and help fix the issue. I went to see Dr.Win after my second big head injury which resulted in post concussion syndrome. My first concussion last 10 months and I was panicking because by the time i went to see Dr.Win I was at week six and my symptoms were as bad as ever (nausea, dizziness, headaches sensitivity to light and sound, extreme fatigue, irritability, short term memory problems, concentration issues and bad anxiety. Excellent doctor, had extremely bad hayfever where I was sneezing constantly and had a lot of mucus. After one treatment with Dr Win I noticed a huge improvement that day which continued to improve over the next two days. I had three lots of treatment in a week as that was the only time I was in Auckland. (He was very flexible and squeezed me in the next day when I contacted him). While traveling on holiday I experienced the worst pain in my side around my kidney region. It hurt to breathe and could barely stand up, the pain was so unbearable. I went to the hospital and received CT Scans, ultrasound, MRI and lots of drugs, including ones for helping flow to pass possible stones and reducing inflammation for possible stomach ulcers.... nothing helped. After a month of no answers and negative test results I decided to see Dr Win. Everyone had focused on organs, the only possible pathology left was nerves. Within 5 minutes of assessment, Dr Win was able to diagnose significant inflammation from nerve aggravation in the thoracic region. Within 5 treatments he was able to get the on-going pain down to 0. My wife was treated by Dr. Win and he was quite helpful in diagnosing the issue and also providing a treatment for my wife. For the first session, my wife did accupuncture and also the cupping to relieve the tension on her body. I was there with her and I would say Dr. Win did a great job in ensuring the treatment was working for her and tended to her needs. The office is quite small and inside a home, however it was very clean and hygenic (which is important when doing accupuncture). Unfortunately this location is too far from where we live, so my wife decided to see another accupuncturist near our home. First treatment we got costs around $90nzd. This will depend what you do in your first visit. Typically it takes a few sessions to feel results kick in.

(Translated) When I walked out of the clinic, although it was raining outside, my mood was very sunny. It has been more than four months since my left knee was injured. After Dr. Huang's treatment, I was finally able to walk normally. These four months have been extraordinarily long for me, especially the first two months, I have been in the shadow of surgery. More than four months ago, I accidentally sprained my knee while playing basketball. My left leg was immediately unable to walk. I jumped back into the car with one leg and went to the emergency room. As it was an accidental injury, I saw the doctor soon, during which the nurse gave me pain medicine. The doctor asked me a few words and gave me an X-ray order. The results of the X-ray showed that there was no problem with the bones, which gave me a sigh of relief. The doctor prescribed two painkillers and gave me a pair of crutches to let me go home. The painkiller didn't work for a day after I took it, and it was said on the Internet that the painkiller was not conducive to recovery, so I stopped taking it two days later. Since the bedroom is on the second floor, I sit on the stairs and move up and down every day. After more than a week, my knee showed no signs of improvement, so I went to see the doctor again. After the doctor asked me, he transferred me to a specialist and asked me to come back in a week. Finally, an MRI was performed three weeks later, and the diagnosis was a meniscus tear plus cartilage damage, possibly accompanied by an occult fracture. The doctor recommended surgery. During these three weeks, I found a doctor of orthopedics of traditional Chinese medicine and a rehabilitation practitioner. The old man of traditional Chinese medicine put me on plasters, and the valuable effect was not obvious. The rehabilitator helped me to check that it might be a meniscus injury and asked me to get an MRI. If it is determined to be a meniscus injury, I will have an operation. Come look for him after the operation. After the report came out, I entrusted my relatives and friends in China to help me with my report and went to see a lot of doctors in this area. Their suggestions were for surgery, but I was not in a hurry. I am very resistant to the operation, because after checking many cases on the Internet, postoperative recovery is a very long process, and the recovery may not be as good as before the operation. What's more, there is a colleague next to me who also suffered from a meniscus injury after the operation. The doctor's reply was that he could perform another operation on him. After reading my MRI report countless times, I have come to the conclusion that my meniscus is only a torn in the forefoot or intact. The current condition may be caused by cartilage contusion or an invisible fracture. So I tried to search for Auckland-related doctors on the Internet again. Fortunately, after comparing several doctors, I chose Dr. Huang. One of the reasons for choosing Dr. Huang at the time was that he was a doctor of medicine and had extensive clinical experience in major domestic hospitals. Also not far from the company's location. I tried to send a text message to Dr. Huang. After Dr. Huang learned of my bad situation, he took time to diagnose me the next day.
