My period came after the first consultation and acupuncture treatment with Virginia, prior to which it had been absent for over three months. My treatment from Ponsonby Wellness Centre consisted of regular acupuncture sessions and herbal medicine. My period has been regular for four months now and it is credit to Virginia’s carefully crafted treatment plan.
Virginia's genuine care and commitment made me feel supported and understood and she provided answers where other doctors had none. H.I have been seeing Virgina for over 2 years.
I found her when I was looking for pain relief treatment for chronic lower back pain. Not only did her treatment plan fix the issue with my back, she also worked on my over-all health and balancing my hormones. When it came time for me to start trying for a baby, I credit all the work I had done on my health to being able to conceive quickly and naturally.
I continued treatment through out my pregnancy which helped with heartburn, pelvic pains and energy.
I had a great birth, but complications after a botched epidural. I saw Virgina a few days after my birth for spinal headaches and she was able to fix the problem within 5 days after acupuncture and herbal medicine. Even my Dr and midwife couldn’t believe the results.
Virgina is a very experienced and intuitive therapist. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
Y.Highly recommended! Went to see Virginia for severe migraine and neck/back issues. She was recommended by 2 friends who had previously seen her along with some family members and they raves on about how good Virginia was and how she fixed all their problems ranging from stomach issues to body aches and pains. I was definitely not disappointed and have been migraine free for over a month now and don't have to rely on strong medication and my neck/back issues are still being worked on due to years of not looking after myself, but is a lot better than before. Virginia is very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. You must go see her if you want to fix those aches and pains!

R.I was referred by friends to this business. I have had ongoing chronic pain in my neck and all the way down the right side of my back and into my hip. I have tried chiropractic treatment, massage and other acupuncture providers. While I have had some relief from these treatments I have been left with an underlying residual dull ache which I haven’t been able to shift. Virginia was able to assess and treat me providing immediate relief. After my first appointment I found my pain level significantly reduced and mobility improved. I returned the following day and after that treatment I am with less pain and moving more freely than I have for 18 months. I found Virginia clear in her approach, she talked about what she was going to do and showed me on a ‘dummy’, then she very quickly found the source of my pain and treated it with brilliant results. Unfortunately I do t live in Auckland, however I will be returning for a regular appointment with Virginia whenever I am in town. Highly recommended for pain relief and professional approach

2020 was really one for the ages. After having 3 surgeries that were quite debilitating the body once again broke down. Since my last visit over 3 years ago, PW has grown in staff and stature. So far, I have had 2 visits with Sally and can absolutely say that there has been a dramatic increase in respect of pain relief and mobility. Simply put, the body feels like it is realigning itself.
Sally is professional and has a great bedside manner, and clear communications. You will be able to note from the very first visit, that she passionate about her work and has a genuine drive to ensure that her client's are comfortable and informed.
I do understand that this review sounds like a plug, and it absolutely is due to how I am feeling compared to other (numerous) health specialist I've seen in search of remedies. I can't thank you all enough and look forward to pursuing a full recovery under your guidance. If you don't believe, head down to the premises and see the list of high profile clientele that have also sought the help of the team at PW. The best part however, is the focus is always on you!!!

H.I went to the Ponsonby Wellness Centre for treatment for a foot injury. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort following surgery and Virginia was able to help me with acupuncture.
Even after the initial sessions I had a significant improvement in the level of pain and discomfort.

T.I totally 100% recommend Dr Virginia, she has helped me so much regarding several health issues. I went to see her regarding a neck pain that wouldn't go away. Saw my GP that referred me to a chiropractor with stretches to do that aggravated the pain more to the point I was in tears most nights and kept my husband up. He searched for another option and decided to try acupuncture. My husband googled one near by and Dr Virginia clinic popped up. She fixed me within weeks.
Shes a great listener and really cares about the people's wellbeing and seeing results. Throughout my session was talking to her about having excessive blood loss from major heavy menstruation. I was taking Tranexamic for years and she explained how she can help with acupuncture and herbal tea, however the process would take 3mths. I continued to see her for acupuncture and drinking herbal tea for 3mths, as predicted my bleeding became less and regular. I wanted to share my experience with Virginia cos I know there are ladies out there that is going through the same issue. I now no longer take Tranexamic pills.🙏💕

A.Virginia is a GREAT acupuncturist, helped me with my chronic back pain. Doesn't register for ACC though so you need to do that at your normal doctor then take the number there to get the ACC cover payment option. Worth it though! Will be going back for my neck, headaches and anything else that comes up!
J.I have personally felt the magical effects of Chinese medicine. I have been coughing for several years now until I was recommended to see Dr Jin of Ponsonby wellness. My cough got worse this year. I’ve been to see my GP and had antibiotics which is usually the western medicines answer to every sickness but have not worked for me in fact it got worse. My coughing got worse at night time and cannot sleep. After I was introduced by a friend to Dr. Jin and got diagnosed and given her herbal medicine it only took two courses of Chinese herbal medicine to stop my cough that bothered me for many years and now I can finally rest at night. Thanks again to Dr. Jin I would highly recommend you to anyone that seeks an alternative treatment other than the traditional Western medicine. [shaking hands] 🙏🙏🙏🙏
