J.I have been a client of the Sound Hope clinic for over 20 years now. I can highly recommend Dr He, Jenny and Winnie. I have greatly benefited from their wide range of treatment options, depth of knowledge and experience and excellent advice and aftercare.
“Auntie”, also has great skill with the herbal remedies and it is apparent that everyone in the clinic lives there mahi/vocation and all work together to provide the highest quality of care.
From massage therapy , to moxibustion, acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, to herbals - I have had the good fortune to experience traditional Chinese techniques that have been more effective than any pharmaceutical options in relieving musculoskeletal issues, a wide range of chronic and acute conditions, and upper respiratory illnesses.
They are fully qualified and ACC registered and regularly update their skills and knowledge base.
You will be in good hands with Sound Hope.
k.I first came to see Winnie over 3 years ago with a shoulder injury. I was amazed with how quickly l started to feel better. After a chat l realised that l was treated by her father over 15 years ago in their family practice on Dominion Rd. When my parents visited from Wellington l recommended acupuncture to them. My father had problems with his back most of his life and he's been so happy with the treatment. And that's impressive for an older Polish person to admit. Just last year l pulled my shoulder and l saw another practitioner closer to my new job. I kept thinking about how much better Winnie at Sound Hope was in the past. Perhaps my injury was worse this time, l thought. After the exercise during the lockdown, l pulled a muscle in my leg which gave me sciatica. This time l went straight to see Winnie in level 1. She finished the treatment l was receiving elsewhere prior to the lockdown. Straight away l felt a huge relief. She really is the boss of her game! The sciatica pain eased immediately and after 2 weeks most of the pain is gone. Her lovely, caring and fun nature made me look forward to my treatment. Because she speaks fluent English she's been able to help with the holistic approach to health. I highly recommend this clinic.

I have been going to her for some years now and her diagnoses and treatment have healed my knees. She is very professional and educates you on how your body works and how to care for your body for ongoing good health. K.I first came to this clinic 2 years ago for acupuncture and have now am a raving fan of the chinese medicine and treatment and Sound Hope. Winnie is the best acupuncturist I’ve ever seen and Dr He is wonderful for chinese herbs. I’ve had severe insomnia treated, strep throat, the flu and other ailments with this traditional chinese medicine which is raw and much better than the premixed herbs. Very lovely and ethical people and I highly recommend over any other place.

E.I highly recommend this clinic!! I was referred by my sister who has been going regularly, along with her husband and the family for many years now. I was a little skeptical in the beginning, not only I fear needles but as I have always been seeing an Osteo. I have had multipe injuries but particularly in my lower back for more than 10 years caused by aerial dancing. Since my sister has convinced me to try Sound Hope Chinese Clinic. So I did and booked with Dr. Winnie and in my first visit I also had a problem with my shoulder and back plus my lower back. After my 1st visit, the tension in my back shoulder immediately got fixed through cupping. And each visit my lower back got better and better and I'm now in my 5th visit and feeling very positive and Winnie tells me that I may only need only 2 more treatments. What a difference!!! And the service has been excellent, Winnie cares and gives me a genuine advice and I'm grateful for my experience with her :)
P.Dr. He and his daughter Winnie are excellent practitioners of Chinese Medicine. Dr. He has prescribed herbs for me on several occasions and they were very effective. He is understanding and very skilled. I see Winnie regularly and she helps me with one off ailments as well as a recurring medical problem. I have used several Chinese Medicine clinics in the past. Sound Hope is by far the best.
L.I am receiving treatment from Win for rebalancing and digestive complaints that relate to an injury I received several years ago. Win is knowledgeable professional in her practice. The treatments I received are more helpful than the 'western' medical treatments' previously received. I highly recommend Win and this clinic's treatments.
J.My family have been receiving treatment from the Sound Hope Clinic for over 20 years, for all manager of injuries and ailments. I have significant spinal issues, and would be in constant pain with compromised movement if not for acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion. I am also prone to pneumonia, so am prescribed Chinese herbal treatment which I have found much more effective than antibiotics and with no side effects. Several years ago my partner slipped and damaged his lumbar region on metal stairs, causing a huge haematoma (blood seeping into tissue). This was treated very successfully with acupuncture. My grandson and members of his karate dojo have also had fast and effective treatment for sports injuries. I schedule in weekly visits for the entire year in advance, alternating with Dr He for massotherapy/acupuncture and Winnie for acupuncture/cupping for digestive and female issues. I am also a proponent of moxibustion, which boosts the immune system, circulation and digestion. Although not Asian in ethnicity, we highly recommend Sound Hope Chinese Clinic to those of all race or age groups.

My darling and I have problems with infertility and wish to have a child. This address was recommended by a friend from Tahiti who after several miscarriages, just been a mom for a few months. Based on his advice and experience, we followed acupuncture sessions and followed a Chinese herbal treatment in parallel with the Western treatment of our fertility clinic for in vitro fertilization to increase our chances of success of having a baby. The treatment at sound hope clinic helped me a lot, Winnie's father for Chinese medicinal herbs and acupuncture sessions with Winnie helped me increase my blood pressure, improve my health, reduce stress, improve sperm quality of my beloved and have quality embryos. I am convinced that acupuncture treatments accompanied by Chinese herbs taken in herbal tea contribute in parallel to the medicinal treatment of a fiv to have a baby. Cette adresse nous a été recommandé par une amie de Tahiti qui après plusieurs fausses couches, vient d'être maman depuis quelques mois.
