A few mins walk from Auckland CBD and quite a nice spot to enjoy a takeaway lunch. There's plenty of seats available as well. During daytime it's always busy with small ferries to and from North Shore and Waiheke.

Got here in my first day in Auckland. It is near to the city center. Like 15 to 20 minutes walking distance. Just a place to walk and look around. Probably a lot of peoples chilling and fishing there. Other than that, nothing special though.

Cool open space to go and spend time. Gives you a view of the whole harbour including the harbour bridge.

Nice place behind the wharf to take the sun at a end of the town.

My favourite place in downtown! You can always sit quietly and enjoy the sea breeze there.

Quite a relaxing place for people living in Auckland CBD. Have been here heaps of times. You can watch ferries departing/arriving and people fishing. Spectacular view of the Auckland Barbour and bridge.

It isnt museum but theres a waiting area for cruise customers thats available to the public with games and a giant chess board. Walking around is great and there are seats to sunbathe next to the water. Its a great spot to hang out on lunch breaks if you work in the area, for tourists or if you are waiting for your ferry boat.

Lovely place for an evening walk

Nice place to walk to and relax on the provided seats and recliners. It's mostly kept clean and the general vibe is chill and fun. A nice addition to the waterfront.

Idk why this is listed as a museum but the waterfront is still really nice all around. Think there's some seating spots but that's about it. Either way, feel free to walk down and around.

Walking to that place almost daily to enjoy the weather and the views while in my break... Many people will be there on daily basis especially if it's sunny and not too cold.

Really nice. Best thing I discovered was the Art Gallery. Too short a time here. Off a cruise ship for 5 hours .

Great place for a stroll and people watching but there’s a lot of road works going on right now which is a bit painful at times due to narrow or blocked paths

Take a ferry to see Auckland skyline, it’s beautiful 👍😊!

(Translated) We moored with Celebrity Soltice right next to the Hilton Hotel pier. Insane to compare from ship to hotel. And the hotel is big. The berth is again the first choice. You can walk straight to the city center or explore the area by bus. It is best to take a hop-on / hop-off bus from the left on the main road in front of the pier. You can then get in and out all day. Or you can book excursions directly from the ship. Which of course is not cheap. Everyone according to his preference. (Original) Wir haben mit Celebrity Soltice direkt neben dem Pier vom Hilton Hotel angelegt. Wahnsinn zum Vergleich vom Schiff zum Hotel. Und das Hotel ist schon groß. Der Anlegeplatz ist wieder erste Wahl. Man kann direckt zu Fuß in die Innenstadt gehen oder mit den Bus die Gegend erkunden. Am besten vor den Pier aus links auf der Hauptstraße einen Hop-On/Hop-Off-Bus nehmen. Man kann dann den ganzen Tag aus und zu steigen. Oder man bucht direkt vom Schiff aus Ausflüge. Was natürlich nicht billig ist. Jeder nach seinem Geschmack.
