Great hangout, warm friendly cosy place. Staff are amazing and the food is too. Highly reccomend if in the area. Membership on offer at a great orice too :)

Very nice place to be have quite lunch and drinks with friends and a few games of bowls awesome staff as well

Plenty of parking, lovely big space for events such as a 50th birthday. Nice kitchen and serving bay. Licensed premises. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because it was not easy to find at night as it's down a long driveway. So make sure you put bright coloured balloons at the top of the driveway with Solar Torch stakes down along the length of it.

Have always been made to feel welcome at this club. We started off as social members and have since become full members. There are opportunities to play competition bowls, as well as social bowls. Very friendly club which is a popular choice for wedding receptions and birthday parties. Highly recommended.

As a Scottish visitor to New Zealand, and Royal Oak Bowls in particular, I have been literally 'bowled' over by the very friendly welcome I have received from everyone I've met. It feels like a big family gathering with the usual comedy banter I see and hear at other successful clubs. The club invites and draws you in so I will be playing at your club as often as I can. The senior bowlers I met and played with today were very impressive in their play and respect and support for others. Great club!

Really great value burgers and bowls night on a Friday evening -great for a social group. Really delicious burgers too and friendly, helpful staff. Great there's been a refurbishment with new carpet too. A great experience for our group

Great space for parties or meetings but room really cold when they don't have any heater in winter and you just sit studying all day. Let's Dance to warm up.

Neat venue, great for functions and events. Has a bar with a variety of alcohol and does the job. Clean and tidy place, bowls&burgers a great promotiom for the place. Thumbs up.
