What a fantastic place! Service was great, very friendly! Garlic bread is to die for! light and fluffy. Meals were amazing! I had the lamb schnitzel with mushroom gravy. I still dream of it...

Came here on the 10/21/21 .. well what can I say.. Firstly, a lovely waitress who was very good at her job, very impressed of how she took charge of what she was doing. (Didn’t get a name sadly) Secondly - the meal was super, had the special steak, first time in awhile I had a decent cooked steak, with a decent amount of chips with mushrooms Thirdly,; even tho this is the RSA, I would gladly becoming back to this establishment and have another meal in the future. Top marks for your staff - definitely made me feel like I was at home. Can’t wait to try their desserts next time

had the best service today from annalise and shyanne. was analise 2day and she was the best server. they both made sure we were sweet as. thank you ladies for the good experience. they both need a pay rise. and the food was epic.

Had lunch with my best mate today. He had beef schnitzel and I had beer battered tarakihi with chips. He love the beef, was moist and tender, loved the caramelized onions. My fish was fresh, but the batter was not crispy enough for me and a bit thick too. Love the ambience. Will go again probably for dinner.

Pan fried sole meal absolutely five star, desserts are massive, enough for two but I ate the lot!

Have been to Diggers couple of times before and both food and service have been top nosh but unfortunately today service wasn't the best. Complained about a meal and got no feed back on it from waitress. Didn't get asked if we wanted desserts, had to ask for a dessert after quite some time waiting. We paid for meals and senior staff member asked if everything was OK... When we told her we weren't happy with meal she apologised and refunded money so thank you for that. Will definitely go back and just put it down to a bad day.... We all have them ☺️

I have been several times recently twice for meals which were lovely. Once with a group for morning tea a week ago which I organized. There were 16 of us. I had arranged fresh scones, raspberry jam and cream. We are treated so well and have regularly had 26 people come.

Another amazing meal at Diggers tonight! Got the ribeye steak, (waitress even remembered from our last visit how I like my steak cooked! How amazing is that!) hubby got the lemon sole and kids got a kids combo, all meals were very reasonably priced and decent size. I asked for my steak cooked blue and it was perfect! Definitely recommend Diggers, the service was impeccable too! 5 star!

Diggers Tavern which is a part of the Mosgiel RSA was fantastic. We had delicious meals and awesome service. The wait staff are friendly and very accommodating. Can not recommend this enough.

We had a family 80th here tonight. Really fabulous service from all the staff. Meals were promptly bought out and all beautiful. Couldn't fault this place atall. Definitely be back on our next trip down. Great work Team.
