D.We used Laurent Law for a permanent resident (PR) application for my partner. We felt the combination of Simon Laurent and James Turner was really strong. Simon was referred to us and was very knowledgable during the introductory meeting, he and James helped craft a strategy for our application, then James helped with us day to day as we prepared/submitted the application. We originally heard that the application process could take up to a year, but our residence application was granted within two months. James helped us feel comfortable throughout the process and also helped us craft the right response to the additional information request. I recommend them to anyone looking for someone to assist with the PR application!

L.Using Laurent law was such an easy process because my lack of judgement in the past caused me significant implications on getting a work visa for New Zealand. 10/2018 my husband and I be GF&BF
03/2019 We lived together
08/ 2019, we got engaged
11/2019 we married.
Our relationship is crazy strong and stable.
03/2020 My kiwi husband decide apply our residents visa by ourself .
Things are not as simple as we thought.
At the suggestion of the immigration officer, let us cancel the application and resubmit the application immediately. The reason is that we submitted the application a few days earlier.(other documents and proof 99% ok )
10/2020 re~apply our residents visa .
3/2021 immigration officer call me and called my husband.
However . The second immigration officer has a completely different view from the first immigration officer.
Things got really bad. The immigration officer recognized that our relationship is real, reliable and strong, but he did not recognize that we have met the basic conditions of living together for 365 days.
The members of our family were very angry, and I almost fell ill. Our friends and relatives are shocked.
On the recommendation of a lawyer friend, we used Laurent Law.
James’ very professional lawyer’s letter and the large amount of legal evidence we continue to provide.
Finally, the immigration officer has no way or reason to say no to our case.
6/2021 our residents visa approved .

N.Very professional and knowledgeable team. I applied for residency through them and the outcome was successful. The reason I got my residency even in this tough environment was because the firm and in particular James Turner (senior solicitor) was able to build the link between what I studied in NZ, my current job and my Indian work experience. It wasn't straight forward at all and I would not have been able to do it on my own. Nz immigration asked for all sorts of information from India going back 12 years. Some of this information wasn't even available.
This is were their expertise and knowledge of NZ immigration came into play and in the end my residency application was approved. I would recommend them.
b.Thoroughly recommended. Extremely professional and experienced firm from initial assessment to final delivery. Simon and his team took on what should have been a straightforward application for residency investment visa. INZ went back 13 years into business history wanting details and explanations. Records were not available as they are disposed off after 7 years in our country. Simon was able to work with the scraps of information available from emails to make an excellent summary and understanding of the business history at that time and help educate INZ on a very specialized area of business transactions. We began to feel that we really were not wanted in NZ by INZ at many times and felt like giving up. Simon continued to battle our corner with great determination , accuracy and points of law. At no point were we asked for more funds as we would have expected from any other lawyer in the world. Simon honored his fixed price deal. Don"t bother looking anywhere else.
