J.Awesome service. Very helpful and friendly service area and office staff who kept me fully informed. It was a bonus to have the screen replaced at my home by Mata who did a great job. This is the standard all companies should strive for. It makes for a really great customer experience and one I am happy to tell friends about. Thanks heaps.
R.I have just had the windscreen replaced in my 2020 Ford Mustang. The service was good and workmanship seems okay certainly no scratches to the paint work and hopefully there will be no issues with the replacement windscreen over time. I was concerned about the 17km “road test.” I understand that the lane departure and cruise control would need checking after recalibration but thought the distance taken to do this was excessive. I know I can’t get the km’s back but I just wonder what sort of driving took place during the “road test”

j.Good quick hassle free service, very personable. Compared to the intrusive privacy policy that Smith and Smith make you agree to (we share your personal data with everyone), there was no such requirement with Novus. Well done, Novus, you are now officially my preferred windscreen repairer!
C.When service is so good it makes poor service stand out even more. I cannot remember the last time I was so impressed with an operation from ground up. I was greeted as if I was their only customer, informed of my options without falling on my ignorance and left feeling it was the experience as much as the result that I came in for.

Tried to tell me the day before my booking that I might have to reschedule but then never heard from them again... called them the morning of my booking and they were extremely rude and hung up on me halfway through the call when I was just politely trying to confirm whether or not they were coming today due to the text I received the day before..

E.Friendly service but it would have been more helpful if I was given full details when I phoned and made appointment for windscreen replacement. I made appointment, then later received text that they need to see the existing windscreen beforehand. Then on the day of the appointment I found out they need my car for min 4 hours. Better to know all this up front. Happy with the windscreen though. Thank you.

N.New chip seal (thanks AT 🙄) left me with a lovely large crack across my windscreen. I called my insurance company who had an option to go straight through to Novus. They took my details and asked me to come in so they can ID the windscreen. I went up the next day and the staff were super friendly, and professional. There were 3 other people there but it still took about 5 minutes for them to check the windscreen and book a replacement. I was given a date and told they would come to me. On the day of the appointment, I recieved a call and he came to replace the windscreen. Again, he was incredibly professional and friendly. The job was completed well. Hoping I don't have to deal with them again, but if I do it would be a pleasure. Thanks very much.

I talked to Andy and he got me in first thing Monday morning to have a look and order the glass even with no prior booking, and my car was ready to drive the next morning. O.I went straight to Smith & Smith Autoglass (S&S) in Wairau Rd, Glenfeld when my windscreen was damaged on the road in mid-December 2019. My insurer had already issued approval to S&S to proceed but they told me a screen would need to be procured from overseas and that would take 5 weeks approximately.
I had already sent photos and measurements from the vehicle to S&S at their request and they said they could get the right screen.
After about 3 weeks I called in to ask if everything was still on schedule and was told they were still awaiting an email from my insurer. Nobody had chased this up, and they would not order the screen until the email was received. This added 3 weeks to the 5 weeks they would take to get a screen.
So then they obtained the required email and ordered the screen from North Shore Toyota. On the day it was to be replaced, I viewed the screen they had obtained and told them immediately that it was not the right one. They confirmed this and then said they would need Northshore Toyota to obtain the right screen - from Japan, which would take 5 weeks!
I asked if they had checked every possible supplier in NZ and they assured me they had done.
I decided to check with Novus Albany and found that they had the correct screen in stock and there were more in other branches. They would have sold a screen to S&S, had they been asked for one.
At this point I had completely lost faith in S&S and got my insurer to take the job off S&S and give it to Novus. The screen was replaced within a week by Novus and I had no hassles with them. All such glass repairs or replacements in future will go to Novus. They were professional and efficient and went out of their way to accommodate my needs for the car to be available upon completion, even though it was after work hours.

Having been through horrible experience with Smith&Smith and an average experience with Novus Penrose I will definitely only go to Novus North Shore again.

a.My car needed a windscreen replacement because of a rogue chip in driver's side of car- because of the year of the car it needed a technician to replace and calibrate- as their technician was away, they arranged with Mazda North Harbour to do the replacement, they took my car there and after work, went beyond my expectations, taking me to get my car.

A.We initially had an issue with a squeaking new wind screen that had been installed by Novus Newtown Wellington.
However after Novus Nth Shore investigated the situation and rectified the problem we now have a squeak free windscreen :-) Really friendly helpful staff
