Travel from Cromwell to Alexandra to get my cof, wouldn't go anywhere else.

K.Absolutely excellent service. Manager and office staff clearly have their act together. Very helpful, friendly, personable, kind, giving, sensitive, caring, understanding...you get the idea.
K.Unnecessary smart comments by technician. Inconsistent application of rules. Issued WOFlast year but declined this year on exactly same light set up. Need to sort out staff and rules.
C.Friendly staff especially the WOF guys, but for the life of me they CANNOT answer the phone been trying to phone them constantly for the last 2 hours left a message on the answering phone and still no reply or call back

N.If been 2 times to vtnz. Because even after i fixed the problem to get the wof they didn't let it pass. I would not recommend it for backpackers, because they seems to be very strict but deffenetly worth to go there, if you want a good check.

N.You are onto them Nicolas C. The priority is to make as much money out of the temporary visitor as humanly possible and by what ever means. The more times they fail you by their over zealous clinical approach the more money they make and the longer they cling onto their job. My overseas partner was failed by the same goon. I sent her through to Christchurch to a place I'm familiar with and although she was completely unfamiliar with ChCh traffic flows etc she passed first time. Many of these examiners are full of themselves and would not have passed their school certificate but they have been able to pick a very small window of knowledge and with much practice have become proficient but behave like medical consultants.
The moral of the story is pick your town/city carefully. You can still find a few towns that appreciate your business and money gouging is not their priority.
