A.Highly recommend these guys! My car suddenly broke down and they organized a tow truck, found the problem right away, and then quickly fixed the issue for a reasonable price. I then took my car back to them after a failed WoF and again they sorted out the problem quickly and efficiently. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly too. Thanks heaps

A.Trust worthy mechanic that won't take you for ride. I have had several bad experiences in the past with mechanics quotes vastly ranging from $450 to $1900. One even halved his quote once I started asking what work was involved. There's none of that BS with Barry Clarke which is refreshing.
E.The team at Barry Clarke Automotive are timely, professional, and extremely helpful. I’ve only been in twice so far (once for repairs and once for a WOF) but have been very happy with the level of service both times. I even asked for some advice regarding purchasing a new car (totally clueless!!) and was taken through my best options, then reassured that I could come back in anytime for a chat, should I have any more questions/concerns.
The work was completed quickly, the prices are very reasonable, especially for Auckland, and I will continue to come here for all my car needs in the future.
z.I booked a service through my autoshop and had selected this workshop to carry out a full service on my late model Mercedes as my original euro workshop was fully booked for a while. I was quite skeptical at first; taking my car into a new unfamiliar workshop, but upon seeing the workshop, the current cars being worked on, and being greeted by a lovely lady at the counter, I felt immediately as ease. Car was serviced on time and the lady reminded of the things that needed to be done in the next applicable service, which to me is a great attitude . I recommend this place.
P.Always happy with the work and service at Barry Clarke. My jeep needed a WOF and my husband took it to a different mechanic, it failed on ball joints and also because of a dash warning light. Comparing the two quotes not only was Barry Clarke's a lot less but the parts used were far superior. The dash 'fault' was only because the tyres needed air which he did at no charge. 100% Recommended.

A.Very responsive and adaptable customer service where you are able to come in on late notice and get a job done. The team are very friendly and have great communication, also pricing seems to be very fair as well! I would recommend if you are looking for a mechanic in the Grey Lynn/central area! A pre-purchase vehicle inspection is only $90 compared to most places which would be around $150-200.

S.Just moving recently to Auckland, car had been playing up. Got referred to Barry Clarke Automotive by another company as they couldn't service my car due to type.
Being a walk in, they were so helpful, great customer service with a personal touch and were able to diagnose and fix the problem within an hour and half and at great price.
Will now become my local - Thanks Liz and Team.
