Great experience at Midas as always. The reception is always friendly and welcoming. Service is quick and they give your car back cleaned up and looking great. Appreciate the text update when car is ready for pick up. Location is near to train which makes this a convenient place to drop off the car.

Really happy Cam and the team fitted my supplied cat back exhaust which he doesn’t usually do with customer supplied parts, was a premium install fee but was done to an excellent standard. There’s a reason this place has so many 5 star ratings, this is my third exhaust job done here and all have been awesome and well priced. I highly recommend this place big thanks to Midas Onehunga and their highly competent team :)

Since I found these guys I haven't gone anywhere else. They're fast, always accommodating and service is to the highest standard every time. Four years and just as many cars later I haven't had any complaints. They're under new ownership, which I've just been made aware of but, I didn't notice a difference at all because the service is still the same. Big thank you to the team and good luck to the new management. May the odds be always in your favour.

Great service! Very good price to fix an electrical issue my car had. They fixed it on the day while other auto electricians could only give me an appointment for the following week.

It's always hard to find a mechanic that you feel you can trust but Midas Onehunga were great to deal with from the start. I found them to be friendly, affordable and convenient. Also very knowledgeable on my model car. Would definitely recommend them and will be taking my car there from now on.

Midas onehunga have been our family mechanic for years now. Even with the change of ownership so far the service has been the same. They're thoughtful, always going that extra mile by giving the dash a wipe and the front seats a vaccum and as a parting gift; leaving lollipops on the seat. The service is friendly and polite and the pricing is definitely reasonable.

Never seen a garage with 5 stars before, thought I'd check them out. Very helpful and great service, only had 2 tyres changed, and they gave my car a little vacuum and scent and left some lollies too. Nice little touch that shows they care, will definitely go back. Price was very reasonable, work was done quickly which was great as I was waiting around.

I have been incredibly impressed with Midas Onehunga. I dropped my car off for repair at 4 pm the day I booked it in, and they had my repair done by 6:30 pm that night (front wheel bearing), which took me by surprise as I could see they were very busy, and my expectation was the repair would be the next day or so. I had forgotten to ask for a quote so was relieved to see the repair cost was actually less than I had expected as I have had other work done by other mechanics in the vicinity with fees more than I expected. I 100% recommend Midas Onehunga for their great service!

Just had my car serviced this morning, Grant was very friendly and his team finished the work efficiently. Because it was a full service, many parts have been replaced and the price was fairly reasonable. And they even vacuumed my car and left lollipops after the service, wicked! I can feel more power and smoother driving experience after the service, so I would highly recommend this workshop. Good people, good service, and good price!

So impressed with my whole experience with Kam and his team. Such friendly, genuine people, who went the extra mile to source a part for good price and to have the car ready when I needed it (along with lollipops in the car and nice shiny tyres). I was gutted when my previous mechanic retired, but so happy to have found you guys - thanks heaps! :)

Really great to deal with. We had a breakdown Sunday afternoon and had it towed to their premises. We had the car back Monday afternoon. They are always fast to respond and very reasonably priced.

Cool guys who help you with what needs to be done but moreso why. Communication is on point, they're pretty honest about the state of your vehicle which is good. Just give them a call, they'll sort you out.

Cam and his expert team at Midas Onehunga serviced both our family vehicles this week. On both separate occasions, the customer service was outstanding with top quality workmanship and very fair pricing, we're extremely grateful to Cam and the team for making our experiences an absolute pleasure.

I've always received quality and swift service with Midas Onehunga. Even with a change of management, quality remains the same and this time they delivered my car to my workplace and accidentally left lollipops in my cupholders. Sorry Midas but the kids found them! I love Midas Onehunga. My experience started with me needing a warrant. I went to my usual guy who said my handbrake needed tightening. It was going to cost $ and I couldn't get it done the same day. I looked around for somewhere that could help and found Midas was open they fixed my handbrake and told me it wasn't going to cost me anything. I offered to get my warrant done right then and there with them, to which they replied "you've already paid for a warrant just bring it to me next time" I haven't stopped going back!! Before I buy a car I get them to check it out, they always give me a fair price on any work and offer great advise. The experience is like taking the car to your brother or uncle, they know my name, my job, my wife's name, my kids names, my mum's name. They really make you feel you are part of the Midas family. Loan cars always offered, and great at fitting in around your schedule no matter how busy they are. - Christmas day my gear stick wouldn't change gears a mate and I had to rip out the dash and center console to jimmy something together and get the car moved. Took it into Midas to get it fixed instantly. Its the little things they do, Grant and the guys there treat you like family. Thanks Midas Onehunga there are still decent guys in the trade.

Awesome service. Great advice. Not many places around with 100% 5 star rating. I was recommended to try these guys and now I am recommending them to all my friends and family. Fixed my car in no time at all and even did a little extra work and treated some rust developing underneath and advised me on a oil leak. Even gave it a bit of a clean. Shiny tyres and even found some lollipops. And the price was great too. There are shops down the road to kill time while they are working but they had finished within a hour and a half so wasnt too much of a wait at all. Great place!

It's sad to say BUT i never knew what great service was all about until I went to MIDAS!! Their service is just amazing and they don't cost you the world!!!! I will always be a loyal customer to Midas. Thank you so much. Will be coming back.. forever lol =)

Didn't go back after changed of owner years ago

Today my car failed a WOF, and without a local mechanic I used google to check for repairers in my area. Midas have so many 5 star ratings it's easy to choose them. I turned up without calling first, and Grant said that he should be able to get my repair done even though they were very busy. 2 hours later my car was finished and they had also done some extra work on top of the repair allowing me to go straight to get the WOF. Price was very reasonable. By far the best service I have experienced within the automotive sector. Keep up the good work. Thanks!

I went here to have my new purchased (second-hand) car an oil change in the early morning of 6 July 2016 before heading back down to Wellington. The guy whose name is 'Grant' accommodated my request even if I didn't have a prior booking. He took the car inside the shop but he returned to me after couple of minutes saying that the car had already been serviced from somewhere else. I didn't saw the sticker on the windshield about it and Grant showed me as well the oil from the stick that is indeed a new and fresh oil. Grant is really an exceptional and honest person and worth of praise for giving Midas customer an excellent customer service. Grant could easily take advantage of my innocence on that particular scenario but he DID NOT. Well done Grant and I hope that there are more people like you who could make more people happy! Highly recommended this Midas shop in Onehunga. Excellent customer service!!!

Staff were really helpful in your Onehunga branch especially the manager on duty Kam Nadan. I had a flat tyre close to shop closer and all staff were nothing but accommodating. I had 3 kids with me and staff offered us lollies while we wait. This took away some of the pressure off me as I had a full on day already with the kids but your Onehunga staff, I feel went over and beyond their normal duties so for this I am, and will always be grateful. I highly recommend Midas especially your Onehunga branch to anyone for a stress free and friendly experience I received. Way to go Midas Onehunga. You are simply the best!.🤙👍😀🙏

Booked my 2006 outlander for 150,000k service and WOF. Done really quickly within a couple of hours and cost within what was estimated beforehand ($264.25). Happy with the service from Grant and Sharon I even got a voucher for free coffee at a local Cafe while I waited.

Wow, very good and honest people. They even fixed a tyre punkture and replaced a brake light for free. (I didn't even know about the brakelight) from what i can say now, they have very reasonable prices. i will come back, when my car needs something.
