K.Fraser fixed a head gasket leak on my Outback. I was recommended by a friend to approach M45 Automotive. There are not many places in Christchurch that will fix head gaskets in Subaru's but Fraser is an expert with them & gave me a full quote breakdown prior to work beginning & even discounted some of his labour charges given the high amount of work to be done. Fraser kept me fully updated throughout the repair & also provided a loan car for the full two weeks that my car was out of action. Thank you Fraser, I couldn't recommend you more highly. She's running a dream. Won't go anywhere else in the future. Cheers.
A.Great experience, huge amount of knowledge, honest and a very fair price. Booked in a pre-purchase inspection (very thorough) for a car I was looking at buying from a car yard. Bought the car, booked it in for a full service, cambelt, water pump and radiator (as noted on the inspection, helping me negotiate the price of the car down at the yard). M45 provided a loan car while work was being done. Have had my car for almost a year now and no issues. Can't recommend them enough!
B.Fraser is a great mechanic. Awesome service, very honest and trustworthy. Communication is excellent and he is always happy to answer your questions over the phone or in person. Can also jack you up with a loan car if required.

G.Overheating 3.0 litre Outback. Others had tried and failed to correctly diagnose underlying issues. Fraser worked through issue, completed repair (head gasket replacement, timing gear, water pump etc) and serviced trans. Skilled mechanic, professional and pricing was as communicated. He looked after me and my car, sourced a small leak, fixed it and gave me a report of some things he noted. My car is no teenager, more like middle aged growing some grey hair! lol..
