Really excellent friendly service from Tony the manager. He ordered a part for and installed it for us when we had a breakdown whilst we were on our touring holiday. The time it took to fix our car and the service offered were outstanding. I highly recommend this business.

Great mechanic. Needed some new rear brake pads for a WOF, they discussed various options openly, and agreed on $170 for new rear pads for a 2006 Subaru Outback. Fitted within 2hrs.

I am always super worried about being ripped off due to my ignorance and because I am a female. I shouldn’t have been. I turned up with an overtired toddler due to a failed WOF - exhaust leak and flat tyre. They had me back on the road within the hour and I was charged well below the “worst scenario” quote I was given. They even removed the rust under my car. I will definitely be recommending them and will use them again. Extremely approachable, professional and efficient.

Went here for an exhaust leak to be fixed after failing WOF. They could fit us in on the day and within an hour we were back on the road. They even gave us some suggestions on the Christchurch area for getting a self containment test! Would highly recommend. Great value for money.

Recommended this outfit by my work, I went in about lunch time with my Vintage Mercedes Benz and a big exhaust leak. I expected them to tell me that I needed an appointment, instead the very helpful staff members took my car, put it straight on a hoist and told me what was wrong. I was given a very reasonable quote and that it would be ready in about an hour! I went back to work, and true to their word, when I called to check in, she was all done. I went to pick up and was presented with a reasonable bill, same as the quote and my car is like new again. I highly recommend these guys to anyone, thanks again to the whole team, Chris.

Called in a couple of days ago and said WOF passed but brakes needed attention. Been to Magoo many times before so asked their advice. Hoisted car and checked-pads etc needed replaced. Booked for today and all done within an hour. Very polite/great service. Thanks guys!

Took car in for free brake check, after a brief conversation about not ripping one another off I knew me and this guy were on the same wave length! Brake check was done quickly and efficiently, turned out there was nothing wrong requiring repairs. Was roughly quoted what it would take to fix the squeak but was clearly told that it wasn't really necessary. While they got no work out of me this time, I'll definitely have my cars back when they do need repairs!

Last minute repair done on exhaust. Great place, efficient and quality workmanship. Recommend to anyone and everyone.support local guys. Thanks again.

Tony and his team could not have been more helpful and efficient with fixing my brakes after I failed my WOF. Passed with flying colors after my visit to Tony. Affordable, very knowledable and just nice guys.

I found the staff to be very professional and easy to deal with. Had an old car that failed a warrant and parts difficult to source. They solved the issue and even took the car for the warrant recheck. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent skilled staff. Made a brilliant job of fitting replacement muffler. A big improvement on previous setup.

I can't recommend these folk highly enough. They were honest and transparent from the get-go, and went out of their way to explain, in detail, what needed to be done. The job was completed in half the time they quoted, and the total bill was 8% less than the price they'd quoted. Friendly and efficient. They've made a life-long customer.

Had to get a leaky muffler looked at to pass the WOF, got recommended this garage by a different one. They fitted us in on the day. Booked an appointment, our van was immediately seen to, we were then told straight up what work needed to be done, how much it would cost and how long it would take. Returned on time and everything was finished :). Staff were very friendly and informative. Couldn't have had better service!

Took my car in to have an exhaust leak fixed for a WOF, when I arrived I had a chat to Terry about some work I wanted to have done to the exhaust in the future. I ended up deciding to have the required repair as well as the extra work done that day as he was so friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job of the exhaust and I got exactly what I wanted out of it, with a nice V8 rumble but not too loud - the guys at VTNZ even mentioned what a nice job he’d done. To top it all off, he did this same day with no appointment. I stopped by with the car around 10:30am and he was all done 30 mins earlier than he said he would be at 4pm. Couldn’t recommend Terry and Magoo highly enough.

Had an emergency muffler repair for wof as had sold car and pick up is tomorrow so was in a real panic. No problem with these guys, all sorted in half hour and a very reasonable charge and friendly staff. Highly recommended and will be returning.

Did a quick muffler modification for me at a very competative price, workmanship was great too.

Went there today with suspected punctured tyre. The guy went out of his way to help me. Turns out it was all good but he picked up on something else that was important to fix. Didnt charge me for his time I will be bringing my business here as it shows they are trustworthy and have good service. Recommended
