R.Had a wof done here after issues with another garage. They explained everything to me and gave me honest advice and I would 100% come back here again. Needed our brakes replaced and they gave me a price and got it done asap.

J.Pit Stop Nelson fitted a Towbar to my car, eventually, although this was not their fault as there was a problem with the order numbers and the same wrong towbar was ordered twice. The Manager/Owner was very accommodating and helpful. I do however have a Health and Safety issue of a curb at the corner of their building that juts out and I tripped and fell over on. This resulted in a trip to hospital and two days off work so far. I can understand it being there but maybe it needs to be brightly coloured or something.
EDITED: Well wow Pit Stop Nelson, I wasn't expecting that. Your customer service is A+. I wanted you to be aware of the curb hazard and to do something about it, but I wasn't expecting the lovely gift bag of goodies. It wasn't required but thank you very much.
D.I won't take my truck anywhere else! I moved to Nelson 7 years ago and Pit Stop was the mechanic of choice for everyone I asked. Everytime I go in they are super friendly, they always call to confirm quotes before they get into it and then follow up with great work. I have referred tonnes of people here over the years with full confidence, locals and travelers alike. Everyone I know has had great experiences and loves their work. There are some negative reviews on here but I have my doubts as to their accuracy as I have been getting my truck worked on by theses guys for almost a decade. I love my truck and these guys take great care of it and their customers. Highly recommended.

P.I called 5 places for pricing and time to get a towbar fitted on my vw beetle. These guys were the cheapest AND quickest. Called me back with a quote and did the job brilliantly.
B.These guys are consistently very good. Excellent service and a great deal of information to help with forward planning. They get repairs done quickly and efficiently and take good care of customers. Highly recommend these guys, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

D.Absolutely a wonderful experience, our campervan broke down in the morning and wouldn't start, they took it in the day of and fixed it, tuned it back up, gave her an oil change and we had her back by 3 the same day. Great service and very affordable!
V.Tony and the team at Pit Stop are true to their name really fast! This does not mean they are not also great at their job. When I was involved in an accident that looked like it was going to end my opportunity to attend an invitation only artists' residency they pulled out the stops and got me back on the road - thanks guys really appreciated the care for both me and my car :) Love the results!

Where do I start? . . . From beginning to end the communication was on point . . . My vehicle was done within the time agreed, even got a text reminder to tell me they had finished. Fitted me in very promptly. Tony was very knowledgable, professional, helpful and kept me in the loop throughout. Didnt make assumptions, and told me exactly how much what was needed was going to cost me, AND kept to it. Even took my vehicle back through the WOF for me next door (didnt realise Pit Stop also do WOFs. I will have them do mine next time instead of VTNZ). Even when I came in to pay Tony still showed me exactly what he had done and why. Reasonably priced too. Would recommend. Tony (owner) is a hard worker and clearly knows what he's talking about. Thank you Pit Stop Nelson. You will see me again in future.

I had a 4 x 4 Land Rover with a multitude of different problems and the guy and he saw me properly right
He got everything fixed and working perfect his communication was informative and let me know how much I was going to be spending and when I looked up quotes from rival garages he's giving me a fair and honest price where is others were way more expensive
Good bloke I'd thoroughly recommend using him, wish there were more people in the world who just did what they did very well just like Tony
