Tony provides a fantastic service. He often goes above and beyond and is always willing to find the time to help service or fix your vehicle. Tony and his staff are always super friendly and helpful.

Tony is an incredibly passionate man with a real love for service, and a genuine interest in people and - of course - cars! In the end, the most important traits you want from a mechanic is honesty and reliability, and Reardrive Autos has that in spades. Mixed with incredible knowledge and a big work ethic, you’ve got the best mechanic I’ve ever dealt with. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love taking my car to this place, they are always incredibly helpful and give the best possible service! I trust them to do what is needed whilst looking out for me. They give me their best estimate as to what they think the cost will be before hand, call when things change and offer payment plans. They also talk to me as they would to anyone else ... ( Not like a female who doesn't know anything). Would highly recommend Reardrive Auto

Tony was amazing! 100% lived up to what it says on the card; "Being treated like a boss" 👌 I needed parts installed for my 350z which at first seemed like a straight swap, turned out to be a day long job; front lower ball joint, rear right shock bush. They kept me updated the whole time, letting me know what the issues were and what they were doing, etc. Extremely genuine. Quality service. Definitely recommend to everyone 💯💯

Got a pre-purchase check done by Tony. He was super comprehensive and made sure I knew all the issues that car might have so I wouldn't have any surprises down the road. Would recommend to anyone!

I live in Wellington. I asked around for a good garage to service my MX-5 and was recommended Reardrive Autos. It has been worthwhile driving to Palmerston North. The vehicle has felt better to drive after each service. Staff are very friendly. Happy to recommend.

As usual a satisfactory conclusion to a repair which was difficult to diagnose. The problem was further complicated by occuring during lock down. The final repairs were completed with usual courteous and professional service. I would recommend this company to any intending client.

When i first moved to manawatu my car needed to be fixed. I went to Reardive autos from internet search. From the first visit Tony has been amazing. Its hard to find honest, reliable, quality mechanic esp when your a woman by herself let alone a mechanic that wont overcharge/rip you off! Tony not only looked over and fixed my car but spends time afterwards explaining things, what he did/found etc. I only trust taking my car to Tony, i wont allow anyone else to touch my car and i know when i drive out of that garage i have a safe car. Tony and his team been looking after me for over 9 years, always smiling, laughing and working hard BUT never to busy to answer any questions. I only ever recommend Reardrive Autos to everyone I meet or asks. Excellence all around.

These guys are the best. Great service, very friendly and very helpful. I had been to a few Auto before coming to Tony and just the way he took the time to explain to me what could be the issues with my van and how we could go about it made life so much easier. I have no clue about cars so to come to someone that actually cares about you makes all the difference. They fixed my van and made it stress free for me. I will never go anywhere else again. Great service, everything was explained and quoted prior to the work being carried out. The quote was spot on and was the work was completed when they said it would be. Tony is fantastic! It's hard to find a genuine and honest mechanic but Tony is it! Highly recommend!

Tony and Antony are two good cats, but that doesn't change the fact they are top shelf mechanics. I have had nothing but trouble chasing down issues with a certain car for a number of years, they delved deeper then anyone else and investigated further. They listen to what you say, and ultimately solved a major Issue in my pride and joy no one else could pin down. Use Rear Drive with utmost faith and reliability. You will get "ferrari" service at reasonable rates.

My car had suddenly broken down, I towed it here to rear drive autos and the next day they had my car ready to rumble! They’ve got an awesome card where you get stamps each time you get a wof or service and on the 5th visit you get it half price. Such an awesome deal. Don’t see many other mechanics doing things like this. Helpful management and fair prices, thanks guys.
