Honest Mechanic in town, they did a great job during the wof check and the service. They even showed me what it failed on rather than just telling me which gave me more trust and a better understanding. The car feels brand new again, will definitely be coming back here. From the First phone call to picking up my car was one of the best customer service I have had by far, this shop knows how to keep customers informed through all the progress happening, by proving exact quote before carrying out the repairs and to giving a call when it’s all finished ready for pick up. Car felt like new and drives much better after having our suspension and brakes replaced. Definitely would recommend to anyone reading this. Will send everyone here that I know from now on! One of the best mechanics in town, after visiting couple of mechanics in the Tauranga region. I had problems with my brakes not working well and being imbalanced, Midas Tauranga was able to fix this for me quickly and do it at a good price. They were able to machine the drums in place and replace all parts required, brakes were perfect after I took them back for a re check at VTNZ. Thank you guys!

Gave them a call about my lights. Got a quote that was $150 less than PIT STOP! and was told to come in and they'll see what's going on. Within half an hour the job was done without needing an appointment. Thank you very much will be coming here again.

I'm from Auckland and my car broke down in Tauranga. My car was there for weeks as it was a big repair job and the replacement part sold to Midas was faulty. Unfortunately the price to fix it became too high (European car) so in the end I had to sell it as it was. Ash the owner was always very helpful to me and gave me lots of time to make decisions when different issues cropped up.

Had been to these guys for getting my car Road ready with WOF. Got things done in time and they managed to replace my blown out bulbs in reasonable price. Staff are friendly and reliable. Also i would say the guy who did the service was knowledgeable and he found time to explain the condition of my car in detail. pretty good experience. recommended !!

Went there due to dodgy brakes but was driving long distance the next day, so urgent fix was needed. They did not have the right replacement part so, rather than wait for it, they instead re-shaped the offending pad to make it safe. Good problem solving skills!

Highly recommended. Since it was getting more and more difficult to get in for a warrant at other places so we thought we'd give Midas a try. How easy this is. Booked online, get a phone call next day to confirm a time, typically that same day. Service is great and not pushy to up sell. We will start to use them for other services. Also, the main gentleman there races cars as a hobby so knows a lot about what to get if you have a high performance vehicle.
