R.UPDATED: We've eaten the cake and it's only fair that we update our review to reflect that. DELICIOUS. Worth every cent and very high quality. We agree with staff that there will be things in the baking process that we can't possibly have 100&% control over. At the end of the day, it's only one (small) part of the cake.
(Original review): Bought a birthday cake today and looked NOTHING like the photo, I mean come on! It was the most distinctive part of the cake (the berry mottled icing) and to get one with an icing that has only about 15% of it, is a bit disappointing.We haven't eaten it yet and I'm hoping it tastes better than it looks
H.Our wedding cake was INCREDIBLE and tasted AMAZING!! and the icing was perfectly smooth! We also had the vanilla cake a week later out of the freezer and that tasted just as good as fresh!! It travelled so well to Waiheke in the car and didn't move an inch! Would highly recommend Amys secret kitchen and was great testing all the flavours before hand to make the decision for the wedding cake, they are really well priced I believe too. Thanks again!

E.Oh my goodness. Amy. You are a magician. Absolute stunning cupcakes! I now have a new baker in NZ. The MOISTEST cupcakes you will come across in your life. Thanks for making our lockdown anniversary celebrations a bit sweet ;) our favourite from the mix of cupcakes was the lemon ones- but all of them was delicious.

J.I ordered from them for the first time as it was special for my birthday, however found the cake to be way too sweet, almost too much so to eat barely just a slice. The decorations and look of the cake was beautiful, however the cake flavour itself was way too overpowering. Now I don’t know what to do with this $75 cake.
