So last week I brought my fortnightly (although it seems weekly lol) Dozena freshly baked goodies 😍 I ordered the cheese hotdog in freshly baked bread, chicken afritada and lechon kawali pies, more spanish bread and choco and dulce de leche bites (donuts), an apple pie and a cinnabon. As always - every single food item was freshly baked - not only are they delicious but as you eat with every bite you know that each baked good was made with absolute love. I love going to Dozena and this time around I got to ask Ate Jade where the name Dozena comes from. If you ever have the chance to go here - please do so to support small and local businesses. It is a family owned business and they are almost always stocked (if they haven't sold out earlier that is, hehe) with all the baked goodies. Whether you are Filipino or not - there is something there for you - Promise!!! So what are you waiting for? ;-) Go on down and get you some Filipino goodness to enjoy especially since we have been in lockdown for what seems like forever and whether it is hot or cold outside - these baked goods will just make your day that much better! Just discovered this place a few weeks ago. Drove past saw a line of people waiting for orders. Got to be good if people are queuing for it. So glad i came back. Love the food here. Very fresh and tasty. Kids love the Caramel and Chocolate bites.

Really happy to have found a Filipino bakery in my area! The pastry on the chicken empanada was so flaky and delicious, and the filling was full of flavour. Also tried the ensaymada and dulce donut bite - both soft and fluffy, really tasty. Will definitely be coming back.

The food here is amazing, the pricing here is really good as well. I had the Pork Adobo pie which tasted so good, just needed it heated a bit more and it would have been even better. The Chicken Empanada and the Pork Buns tasted amazing. The Pork Bun especially as it isnt a bbq pork bun, its some sort of nice pork flavour, possibly Adobo flavoured on the inside. Dulci bites and Choco bites were incredible, so soft, so flavourful, definitely my favourite thing here.

Loveliest business owners- always going over and beyond for their customers. Always maintain great rapport with their local customers. A few Faves: • Dolce De Leche donuts • Adobo pie • Humba pie • empanadas • sugary twist buns • cheese hot dogs

Best pies I've ever tasted!!! MUST TRY their pulled pork/chk etc range! I just randomly walked in here; when i got home and tried the pie i had to search this place and give them a 5* review.

My husband's favourite bakery now! Yummy fresh Filipino bread and other food also. Prices are reasonable also which is a bonus! Love it here. Always full though, so best to get in early or text throuyh your order esp. if making a big order.

The UBE cake is absolutely divine. The Leche flan is so creamy with perfect sweetness of the caramel. It's one of the best !!!

Went here this morning and most of their food was sold out. No surprise there as it's becoming quite popular but what i did eat was quite delicious. We had caramel and chocolate donuts they were yum and these pork and chicken empanadas were great. The young boy that served us had very good customer service. Thanks guys!

Love this little hidden gem of Filipino bakery near Papatoetoe train station lights. They tick all the right boxes for me- cleanliness and the good range of bakery item. My favourites are the divine Spanish bread and chicken empanadas... unbelievably low prices and service is fast and always with a smile. Highly recommended!!!

Great food at a super affordable price. Definitely a hidden gem and worth trying out. I’d recommend the different bites, ham and cheese roll and their beef or pork pie 👍

This bakery is so good I go almost every week sometime twice a week. The beef pie is amazing al ll the sweet pastries are delicious. Chicken empanadas 👌🤤 you won't be disappointed more addicted to this place.

Due to my work schedule, I haven't been able to visit one of my favourite places to visit. Their cinammon buns are yummy. Spanish bread takes the cup for me ❤❤ I hope to visit u soon. 🥰 Fresh food and delicious😋 Friendly staff too.

First there I purchased the chicken empanada beef pie very good food different taste wife but very welcoming to the NZ palette highly recommended anyone within 1000km radius needs to pop in grab a bite and try some of the other food they make

Stopped here out of curiosity. Bought a shakoy and a chicken pastry, both very delicious. I go regularly just for the shaky might try other items. Friendly and helpful staff.
