I really love the Midnight Baker bread. It tastes so health giving and I love the chewy texture of it when it is fresh and the crunchy texture of the toast. It's flavour is so rich. I always keep in sliced in the freezer so that I can have it when ever I want it, I just defrost the pieces I want to eat and toast them. I love it with peanut butter but it is nice with anything.

Fantastic bread and service, lovely people. One of my siblings put me onto the loaf mixes. I have a series of food restrictions and I have been craving bread so it was a very welcome discovery. The buckwheat mix is delicious, so easy to make and with endless potential for variations. The loaf made as it comes is delicious. I’ve also made Easter loaves, and I’m working on a Christmas loaf. I can also recommend the hot cross bun loaf Midnight Baker sells ready to bake. It has a lovely flavour profile. Super caring, efficient, friendly service always. I can recommend shopping here without hesitation.

I have recently started ordering directly from the midnight baker. I am a big fan of their seeded bread as its gluten free, packed with goodness and very filling so a little goes a long way. I was delighted to find that they have two additional flavours - herb and cinnamon chai. Both are delicious. And I am now a regular for both. My husband is now a midnight baker convert too. We’ll be sticking with their loaves as a household staple. Very good communication and delivery service also.

I received the Freedom loaf mix buckwheat as a gift. Baked it yesterday and it couldn't have been easier and quicker. The taste is sensational and would highly recommend The Midnight Baker products.

Super fast delivery, DELICIOUS bread (I bought the Buckwheat Naked Freedom Loaf Mix) - it's amazing toasted with avocado/basil/lemon zest. :-) The loaf was really easy to mix/make, and baked perfectly per the instructions. My body doesn't like coconut, so I loved that I could make this myself using whatever sweetener I liked. Will definitely be buying these on the regular.

Ordered the buckwheat freedom loaf online and must say it is such a delicious, wholesome, nourishing gluten-free loaf! Appreciate the concise list of natural ingredients used in the making too. I also ordered the almond & spiced cookie spread which is like spicy chai heaven, delicious. Great customer service too, thanks so much and will definitely order again <3

I have bought the bread mixes from The Midnight Baker and they are absolutely delicious! So easy to make up the mix and the bread is full of goodness and disappears very quickly in this house. The customer service is awesome as well..

Pricey bread but made with absolutely amazing ingredients. Good vibe , beautiful small little place with nice staff! Honestly , the HEALTHIEST and most pricey bread I ever had! We order 2 sweet items , and both are delicious - highly recommend the banana toast and snicker!

I baked my first loaf from The Midnight Baker today …. It was super easy not having to worry about proving etc. And the loaf is absolutely delicious. I have now ordered a spice version! Very impressed.

I placed two orders for whānau in lockdown in Auckland as "cheer you up gifts", which were delivered promptly. The loaves and cashew and coconut butter did exactly that. Both recipients report that both were lovely treats which they are enjoying.

Clair has sent through a lovely email regarding the potential delay on the delivery during Level 4 lockdown which is really nice and thoughtful. Received my order on Saturday and it's well packed, and super delish! Will definitely continue to support The Midnight Baker!

Found this cafe to take our daughter too being vegan friendly. Such great meals, we all enjoyed the well presented and prepared food. Will be back soon.

I’m a huge fan of the midnight baker loaf mixes. I’m not much of a baker, however the instructions are so easy to follow that even a novice like me can’t go wrong. The service is also amazing, the mixes always arrive quickly and in perfect condition.

Favourite spot for weekend brunch, though I may be biased! Love their bread as well as their new menu (which I’ve finally tried out after not going for awhile!). Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff!

I enjoy my meats but this vegan/vegetarian cafe makes really good food and coffee to suit everyone! The cafe is quite small so you may have to sit outside or wait for a table during peak hours. The cold brew coffee is nice as well! Highly recommended!

Midnight Baker bread is vegan. It is full of grains and seeds and it is incredibly tasty. It freezes well sliced up, thaws out quickly and tastes as fresh as the day it was made. Delicious!

I sent some Midnight Baker cookies to a friend for her birthday and she LOVED them. Ordering online was easy, the cookies arrived on time and we're beautifully presented. Really great value, too. Will order again ☺️

Amazing food. Whether you’re vegan-inclined or not (I’m not particularly), the food will seriously impress. We had the Jackfruit tacos and the citrus curd. Both were really good, but the citrus curd in particular was incredible. So yeah the food is amazing. But the music is also sweet, the atmosphere relaxed yet somewhat vibrant, the staff attentive and polite. Strongly recommend

Such an adorable place. Beautiful coffee, so creamy and perfect flavour. I really loved my cappuccino. We ordered the midnight bowl, which is a generous portion. Colourful selection, nice bits and pieces of everything. The creamy mushroom was fabulous. I have never tried it with coconut cream, which is insane, coz it’s a match 👌🏻 The banana bread did not leave us disappointed either. Perfect texture. Cosy and friendly place with mouthwatering, excellent food. Not a lot on the cons side: waiting time is a bit longer, so make sure you arrive there not last minute and super hungry. Hangry alert. Our clothes smell after leaving the restaurant. It’s worth to take those risks 😉

Love young lady and the oat loaf and chocolate chip cookies look amazing - yet to sample one. Unfortunately the buckwheat loaf ad sold out so I will have to return.

Small menu but so delicious and filling! And most of it is gluten free. The vegan cheese was delicious and melted perfectly

Lovely fresh organic vegan (I think?) food centred around their lovely bread. Edamame smash and pesto on toast were particularly good. Not huge seating area, but makes for a cosy setting.
