Sonia and her team have best patisserie in Auckland! Everything from the sweets and savories at the counter and made to order cakes are absolutely amazing and fantastic! I always get our special occasion cakes from here and are never have never been disappointed!

A real treat. I hosted X4 seasons of THE HIT TV show - New Zealands Hottest Home Baker and can say without a doubt that Vaniye is a champion. A Patisserie that is both a visual feast as great as it is delicious.

When talking about cakes and pastries for special occasions, Vaniyé Patisserie instantly comes to mind. Last Friday, my wife celebrated her birthday and for something truly decadent, the Noah Chocolate Cake was instantly my best bet. Good things come in four — dark and milk chocolate mousse, praline crunch, chocolate sponge and cassis blackcurrant coulis — so you get to enjoy the best of all worlds in one bite. The marriage of these ingredients results in a balanced flavour and will definitely tantalise your taste buds. Vaniyé Patisserie prides themselves on selling baked goods made sincerely and from the heart. Their Noah Chocolate Cake looks heavenly and a terrific crowd pleaser. In comparison to the many fancy chocolate cakes in the market, this cake encapsulates the feeling of home sweet home.

Sonia and the team are great! The cakes, pastries and biscuits have a great balance of textures, taste and sweetness. Vaniye is our “go to” for cakes for all occassions!

These are the best cakes in Auckland, Sonia and her team are so clever and the flavours are incredible and a little different. They look & taste define. We ordered the new Chiang Mai, which was simply amazing. Staff are incredibly friendly. So lucky to have you as a local.

Nice fancy cakes. Brought a large cake for my dads birthday. The cake wasn't very sweet but it was still quite nice. We had to pick up the cake on the Saturday for the Sunday as they were closed Sunday and Monday. Edit: Tried the gallete de rois and it was nice. Pear with frangipane in a nice pastry. The finding of the charm made it fun. Their croissants are nice and can be frozen for eating later.

Ordered a passionata cake and it was really nice, also got Noah and Ms. Sunshine "mini cakes" they were really tasty as well, our favourite was definitely Noah the crunch praline was a really good surprise. The customer service was good. I love the packaging and the branding itself. It'd be nice if could find more information about the cakes in the website.

I've had cakes and desserts from Vaniye for years and they consistently provide amazing desserts, every time. Sonia's cakes are so good, we haven't looked to anywhere else for the past 2 years. From taste to texture to presentation, we are always satisfied. When dining in, the customer service is always friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend Sonia and Vaniye for your cakes and desserts.

I have ordered Kyoto birthday cake as my friend suggested me. Overall it is nice, the only thing the comment is the red bean paste was not as good as previous order. It was smooth red bean paste but now, it acts like some chopped nuts mixed together. Besides that, they are all ok

Love their cake. We came here after lunch time and sadly there were not many to choose from. We ended up with Noah. Not too sweet and nice texture. Will definitely come back to try more.

Really great local place I am happy to live near. I love the coffee and it feels authentically french. Also, I like the sticky rice that they sometimes haveI think you have to check Instagram to see when.

I purchased the ‘La Tarte Chocolat’ which includes salted caramel, dark chocolate & hazelnut. i’m not even a huge caramel fan but this was just Devine. lovely staff too. Ordered a box of macaroons for my birthday, they were really tasty and had a perfect texture. Will definitely go back here!

Tried the black forest and croissant. Both were pretty good. Black forest was full of cherry flavour and balanced well with the dark chocolate. Croissant was very buttery. Unfortunately I only got the plain one, will try the almond one next time.

I bought a few cakes for Valentine's and pistachio and blackberry macarons. Everything was fantastic quality and enjoyed. The chocolate was rich and had some interesting flavours. I would have happily bought everything in the display case if I could! Would go back for a sweet treat in a heartbeat.

This is THE BEST French patisserie in Auckland, if not New Zealand. Amazing desserts, cakes, the pastries are to die for and their chocolates and every piece is like a work of art that tastes just as good as it looks.

If you have ever been to Paris and experienced the joys of real, artisan pâtisserie, then you will love this place. If you've never been to Paris....it is on your doorstep in Parnell. The food is unbelievably good, you simply will not want to go anywhere else after Vaniye. Not only is everything meticulously handmade with finest ingredients but they sell online and have gift vouchers, so ideal for Christmas and Birthdays, to treat someone special to a truly divine, repas spéciale. Parnell is known for its many art galleries. Well, Vaniye is one one them, except you can eat fine art. The Black Forest is one of my favourites of all times since childhood and obviously Sonia took it to another level.

The ordering online was easy, the choices of cakes are beautiful and just different to what other businesses offer. The prices are also extremely well priced. Cake I was told was delicious. Wonderful desserts. 😍 Loved your sea salt caramel as well. I made a suggestion to use manuka honey in your chocolates as the current one you are selling is lacking in that strong honey flavor. Great service.

Positives: I placed an order for 7x black forest desserts 2 weeks in advance. The items were delivered to my doorstep in perfect condition and on time. The desserts were delish and made the birthday girl very happy. Feedback: the desserts were precariously close to each other when they arrived so I was concerned they could have Ben sloshed around in transit. So individual boxes or something to ensure they stay intact would be good. I feel like we got lucky in this case and all of them were fine but getting them out of the box required us to be extra careful.

Ordered during lockdown level 3 so only order to pick up is available. Cake was delicious and love the selection of flavours. It was ready to be pick up the next day. Price is just right.

It’s the second time I bought Vaniye Birthday cake. The cake looks pretty and tastes so good. I also recommend the little fireworks of it. It will bring a surprise to all kids.

Their cake never disappoints me so I come back all the time! Always perfect, both visually and flavour-wise. My favourite is the unbaked blueberry cheesecake as I could taste every single special ingredients they put in - very fresh, just right amount of flavour intensity and the combination of the ingredients were just perfect.

Came across this patisserie on Google. Was simple to order online through the website and the service on collection was great. I ordered the Easter cake that I paid $68 for. Great in taste but could have been a bigger size. Regardless will order again.

Fabulous patisserie with a delicious range of sweet and savoury treats, within dangerous proximity to our office. Their baguettes are simply the best (get in early as they sell out quickly)!

Noah is far the most delicious chocolate cake I’ve had in New Zealand (and it’s definitely one of the top ones in the world). Not too sweet, rich chocolate, crunchy bits, the only negative thing is that it’s a bit too small... we often don’t have enough left overs to share the day after.. 😂 Vaniye often have very good seasonal cakes as well~ still reminiscing the Strawberry Pistachio cake, it was so good I had the same cake at two birthday celebrations (in the same year)~ Yum Yum~

The Patisserie is beautifully presented, using the best quality ingredients, and stunning packaging. I tried one of their Mille-Feuille gateaux, and it was delicious. My colleague and I are thinking of making this lovely Patisserie an every Friday treat.

Bought the French Macaron Party Box (GF) and the French Shortbread Chocolate Sablés (NF). Everyone loved it. It was exciting to pick new flavours of the macaron and not being sure which one it was. The macarons were very soft. Abit on the pricey end but it is definitely worth the price for the taste of it.

Best croissants in Auckland! Recently purchased a tart and macarons for a birthday delivery and the staff were super helpful in making sure the details were all perfect - down to writing “happy birthday” beautifully on the box as per my request. Their chocolates are fantastic and their cakes beautiful.

We have the tradition to get our birthday cakes from Veniyè. They are magnificent! Everybody loves it. We tried so many different cakes, all delicious. Once you try it, you won't go without them at least once a year for your birthday! 100% recommended!

Fantastic products - authentically French - excellent service and follow up when waitlisted for their scrumptuous limited editions. The latest one we indulged in was the Chinese New Year Gateau Basque! Exquisite presentation just like the good patisseries in Paris. I ordered individual dessert during lockdown and the service was perfect and on time. The packaging is really cool too. And for sure the desserts were delicious - I recommend my favorite so far - Jon Dessert even if I didn't eat them all yet :) I will definitely order for other occasions :)

I wish I could eat there everyday! Their pastries are amazing, any cake you try is tasty, yummy with just the right level of creativity, sugar and love. Birthday cakes are also to be tried to impress little ones and old ones as well. I didn’t try the wedding cake though, I was already married ;-). Definitely deserve a try !

This is my favourite patisserie in Auckland. It is also the place where I got introduced to the proper French macarons. I am fond of macarons since then. I love their cakes. The cake flavour is well balanced, you can tasted the different layers of ingredients in the cake. They also have new cakes introduced from time to time, you will never be bored of their flavour. Their nutty crunch is also an awesome snack to have for tea time - one of my favourites. I have recently bought their high tea set. It was amazing. Their savoury food is just as amazing as their sweet ones. This is the place where I get my cakes for special celebrations and events! You will not be disappointed :)

If you're missing Paris then you should definitely head to this bakery immediately. Everything is exquisite and possibly a little additive :-) I recommend the baguettes, eat them right away or leave them in the freezer until you need a bread fix. The danishes, quiches and cakes are all out of this world.

Superb cakes that bring happiness to all. We have been having Vaniye cakes as our birthday cakes since they opened! In recent years, we are finally using their website and online services more since it’s easier than going to the shop. Each time we eat their cake, it is so satisfying. Their individual cakes are so yummy and it keeps changing! Sometimes they bring back an old one which is really awesome. Fantastic service with super friendly people!!

Vaniye make excellent food, in a beautiful location and the team are genuinely kind and warm. We are truly lucky to live within walking distance and to call this wonderful place one of our 'locals'. Our favourites: the best pain au chocolat in town; passionfruit macarons; and a 'proper' hot chocolate!

Only ever get my birthday cakes from here. Doesn't count if I don't get a birthday cake from Vaniye. Every workplace I've been at, I have introduced Vaniye cakes to great reviews. Yes it is a tad pricier to places like Cheesecake Shop but the comparison is unfair as the quality is vastly different. Great value for the price. Also check out their croissants. They are "to die for".

Delicious, tried one of their cakes (Jon Birthday cake) for the first time for a friends birthday and was not disappointed. Delicate and visually appealing, not a huge cake but decadent enough not to need huge slices. Update: the Blueberry and cherry unbacked cheesecake is my new favourite cake. I will have to find more reasons to buy cakes from Vaniye so I can try them all...

I am really obsessed with this place. All the cakes are very creative and subtle and simply beautiful. The baguettes are the best you'll find in Auckland. And, finally, the macaroons are honestly better than any macaroons I've ever tried not only in NZ but in Europe too. LOVE

The best place for morning date. I enjoy my catch up with my husband over coffee and cakes. Always wonderful experience whether it was a lovely coffee or a pastry or something pretty in the range of cakes.

The birthday cakes here are absolutely delicious. It happens in a lot of bakeries that you buy a cake and when you eat it you feel like a mouth full of sugar. It's not the case with this one. It is the definition of quality as you feel 5 different tastes in the same time and sugar is there but only as an auxiliary. On top of that, they have birthday cakes already made most of the time. This helped me a lot as I didn't have to pre-order.

Simply the best pâtisserie in New Zealand. If you like fine cakes / gateaux but also great chocolates, delicious sandwiches and crusty bread come to this Parnell address and enjoy a small cake or a big one for a party. You can order or pop in in their small ‘coffee/ tea salon’. Parking can be an issue but it’s worth a short walk. I have been coming since they opened few years ago now and the pastries chef is the best. She studied her craft in Paris at a famous ‘chocolatier’ before coming to NZ. The cakes are beautiful to look at and the tastes are fantastic. Recommended. Enjoy!

This is a true patisserie! It shines above “ cake shops “ as it actually shows true craftsmanship. I remind me of Paris and all the patisseries. And now I can buy a gallette des Rois to NZ. Thank you for keeping my childhood tradition alive and allowing me to share other with my children.

Best Macaroons in Auckland by far! And they don't just stop there. Their desserts look amazing, and taste just as good. They make great coffee too! If you're in the area make sure you stop by Vaniye and check them out. It's worth mentioning that a few of their desserts have alcohol so if you're the no alcohol sort it's worth checking before you order.

This is great quality French baking presented with talent and imagination. You'll need to select a box of baked treats. Your family and friends will be really pleased. I know how true this is. I always buy way more than I plan to. The croissants here are totally delicious and memorable. But the most expensive in New Zealand. No apple fruit salad pastries.

Possibly one of the best bakeries I have been in Auckland. Rich, buttery croissants in addition to a bunch of other delicious cheesy, mushroomy toasts with ham, with kumara and divine looking and tasty desserts. Coffee here is not to be missed if you’re into deep and strong taste.

Once you’ve had a decadent Birthday cake from Vaniyé, you’ll never be able to settle for anything less sophisticated ever again! Not only are they such impressive visual masterpieces, each velvety smooth mouthful will leave your tastebuds screaming for more... and leftover Birthday cakes will become a thing of the past as everyone fights for seconds :)

Bought their queens birthday high tea to take home, presentation and taste was on point. Wish I had bought 2 servings just for myself! Hope they decide to do another one soon or make it a permanent thing!

Be swept away to Your favorite metropolis when entering this stunning Patisserie in Auckland. After living in Tokyo for 6 years this store was a breath of fresh air, offering beautiful sweets, pastries, chocolates, and drinks. The atmosphere is quiet and sophisticated. A favorite Sunday morning tea time stop.

Coffee is good. We also had some macarons, first few were delicious and melted in our mouthes, but the chocolate one was either overcooked or stale. The shell was very hard for some strange reason and it was almost tough to chew through. However, I will be back to try the other desserts, but will probably not buy any more macarons from here.

I have never been disappointed by the treats from here. Every dessert is exquisite. The balance of delicate flavours and textures is an absolute delight in every masterpiece.

Had a slice of the Noah cake - loved it! The coffee is pretty decent too, and the staff are great.

Small dining area, but the food are heavenly. A must try. Staff members are friendly, patient, and accommodating. Although the dining area is small, it's cozy and inviting makes you want to linger and enjoy their gorgeous food.

Hi Sonia and Laurent, we're big fans of your cakes, nice forms, great textures and complex flavours. Would personally prefer if the sugar level / sweetness is reduced for the Le 70 Noir chocolate cake and the Ryoku green-tea cake, that way we could enjoy the subtle bitterness of dark chocolate and the subtle aroma of matcha.
