k. d.Lovely pies, sandwiches and slices. Great travel or picnic food. Shop front doesn't look overly inviting but food is perfect for a quick lunch.
M.The proprietor, Sathray, won the bronze medal at the national barista competition a few years ago, so he knows how to make a great coffee.
He's also worked in French bakeries, where he learnt how to bake, his almond croissant was excellent, and his sourdough bread was about the best that I've had outside of San Francisco. He also bakes all his wide range of pies in store too.
This is an unassuming little cafe that doesn't look like much, but is a great place to stop for a break while driving.
J.My favourite bakery in Bulls. Has a decent pie and sandwich selection. They're sweet treats are fresh and more than the usual bake slices in the other cafes. Their coffee is always on point - a nice surprise in little Bulls. Only downside is that they're a little smaller than the other bakeries around.

M. (.Bulls is the perfect place to stop if you're visiting the North Island/Wellington, the petrol is always the cheapest here for some reason but this bakery in particular has a great selection of food and pastries.
Very reasonably priced as well, if you do come here... Try the butter chicken, it's dellllllicious!!!!
