Heard today it was a famous donut shop, so decided to try it out. Glad I did. :) Very friendly staff. Creative large donut for $7. Would recommend checking out. - 1 December 2021

Potentially the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a cafe. All the food looked amazing, the pies & sandwiches are tasty too and the coffee was great. I'll definitely be back soon.

Really good pies, well cooked light and fluffy pastry with a very decent amount of meaty filling. Also had a banoffee tart which i was greedy and ate all by myself but it was actually big and rich enough to be shared.

Amazing, heard about this place from mates in Auckland. Just one thing for those visiting to make sure to bring cash or eftpos/debit only as they do not accept credit cards on site. Besides this there is a huge variety of sweet goodies to choose from.

Love this place! A definite must do if you enjoy yummy pies and doughnuts. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks guys, we'll be back!

We were recommended this place as the best pies in Lyttleton, and they didn't let us down. Great staff, great range, and very high quality baked goods. The pork belly pie was to die for. Lovely atmosphere with a nice view too.

Glamour Cake operates inside the Lyttelton Bakery & Café. After seeing a few photos on Facebook I went to check it out and it certainly does not disappoint. Obviously there is a massive visual appeal for the sweet treats that Glamour Cake offers but thankfully it tastes as good as it looks. Their ambrosia donuts are next level and the staff are lovely.

There were no donuts! Lots of genuine home style baking. And the tea and coffee were both really nice

This place is to die for! You just can not beat this place. Service is amazing. Location is great. And as for the food I doubt I will ever find another pork and apple with crackle pie in NZ like it. I never go anywhere else when visiting the area.

Absolutely delicious donuts and sausage rolls. Great coffee too. A little bit short on seating, but it was school holidays and we only waited a short while for a table. I will be going back to try the raspberry bun!

This is the best doughnuts shop I've been to the creative creations of different types is clever I think you should open one in Melbourne you would do very well ❤️

Never mind the waste-line, this place is to die for. The doughnuts are incredible, their texture is light and interesting varieties. You've gotta get there quick, this place is popular.

Great place to get a donut. Have tried some other items like the custard square and lollie cake balls and they were ok. Definitely worth it to get an overindulgence in the donuts department.

Try a Snickers Cake or A Jersey Caramel Cake or a Lemon Merenge Cake. WOW. Their Baker is a Genius! Save up and buy their most expensive cake. Honey You Deserve It! Lovely Smiley Staff, Gr8 Service. Good Coffee Too.

Been here couple weeks ago for a steak and cheese pie. Let's face it not worth the drive from kaiapoi as the pie was still cold on inside differently won't buy a pie again.

Delicious! The donuts look incredible and taste amazing. Worth the wait. It has become a must do if you are in Lyttelton. We had the "death by chocolate" and "bananoffee" both highly recommended 😊😊

Pies, steak and a mince pie were nice but only had these flavors because that was all that was left at 11:45am. Good amount of filling and nice pastry. Lots of appetizing looking donuts, cronuts and cakes. Had a cronut and donut. There were very nice but a little sweet. Great for the sweet teeth out there. Obviously very busy and the line was only growing. we decided to take our food away.

Had a fantastic doughnut here. Even though it was busy staff were very friendly. Would 110% vist again next time I'm in the area

Just popped in here for my last day in Christchurch, before flying out tomorrow. Oh my goodness, the coffee's were smooth, the afghan's were delicious and the view from both outside and inside were amazing! Definitely a recommend stopover to grab a coffee with friends!

Excellent selection.....not just cakes though.. Fudge...pies you name it . And the coffee alone is worth the trip

Wow! I see why this place is so popular. I really don't eat pies - they are not usually my thing, but I decided to try a Pork Belly pie, just because I love pork and wow! It was amazing, full of pork pieces and it even had crackling (melt in the mouth crackling even) on the pastry top. Just fab!

Oh my god. Incredible donut, and the best pie I have ever had which was a great bonus! Fast and friendly service. An extensive range of goodies beyond Donuts - cheesecake, slices and brownie - which all look delicious. Definitely worth the trip to Lyttleton.

Previously we have bought some of their super doughnuts as takeaways. Today we had a pie and plain doughnut as a sit-down meal. Average, and I think I'll stick to the super doughnuts from now on.

Omgosh never have I tasted a donut as tasty as this. Wow. It's a good thing their shop isn't where live. Worth the 40 min drive. Their other treats are delicious too!!

Absolutely love visiting here. It's important to note they are incredibly popular and I would recommend going earlier in the day (before 11am) to get the best selection, the store can be typically sold out before 2pm and some times before midday! The pricing is varied depending on what you are purchasing, something more simple like a jam doughnut will be closer to $5 where one of their more decadent options will be up above $7. It's definitely worth a stop for the unique take on doughnuts and the wonderful township of Lyttelton accompanied with the views! They also offer a selection of savoury items like sandwiches, rolls and pies and other sweet varieties along with beverages (such as coffee and refrigerated items). The staff are alway friendly and attentive. The seating can be a little cramped when it gets quite busy but don't let that deter you!

Pretty standard looking bakery but they do some crazy good doughnuts and sweet treats! We got a lamington doughnut and creme brulee donut ($7 each). They also had a delicious banoffee pie thing for $5.80, which is a steal! Doughnut flavours vary each day and and they load up on Saturday with doughnuts galore. First in best dressed for the choicest flavours. I'll race you there! 😉

Absolutely divine selection of sweet and savoury treats! I had a piece of the cookie dough cheesecake... amazing!!! Great coffee too, and very affordable pricing.

Absolutely love the donuts cakes and the caramel brownies! Theyre sooo good only downside was the chick working there which i think she is no longer... served me without saying a word on few occasions and very sour looking. I admit i stopped going for a bit because of her service. Back now though! 😊

Have been wanting to get a donut here for ages. Paid $14 for a brandy snap donut and a custard square donut, cream was way to sweet it just tasted like a sugar overload I think a little to expensive for what they are.

Disappointing they had sold out of their famous doughnuts. Realize now you need to get there very early. We did have a pie & it was yummy

Terrific and yummy delights in this shop its just so hard to pick what youd like to try. I totally recommend coming here. Great prices. So so friendly staff. Just a shame your shop isnt alot bigger for more people to dine in. Its a HUGE yes from Me. Donuts, cakes and cheesecakes to die for. Its a sugar overload, I Promise.

Walked in to the shop and saw lots of yummy treata to eat. Decided on the two different flavors of donuts Jam and Nutella. Absolutely delicious and well filled in them. Thank you.

Only complaint is I bought too much and could not eat it all! So many options that looked soo amazing. Definitely recommend!

very fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. Lots of variety you just have to get there at the right time. I’ve been twice and will definitely be back.

Some amazing donuts and cakes. If you are going for pies perhaps not the best place but if you are going for donuts best place in Christchurch.

Customer service is great, great vibe in the bakery that's put Lyttelton back on the map as a must goto place. Always a line here. Food was amazing and vairied. Clean and tidy.

Saturday breakfast 7am while sitting watching the port and activities. Glorious food.

So drove here from Paraparaumu so my wife could get her donut fix! Well worth the holiday built around a trip here. Amazing donuts

Was a little disappointed as not much selection but it was a Monday. Coffees were average on very hot and weak. Donuts were yum.

(Siehe Bilder) Dazu ein leckerer Cappuccino und freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen...was will man mehr. Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor der Tür. Genauso wie eine Spark WLAN-Box ;)
