G.Excellent all round. The crepes are divine. Eggs Benedict were fantastic. Fantastic staff- smiling and friendly and very engaging. Wonderful outdoor seating. Definitely returning again and again and again

M.Not smart but just what I was after, a French inspired Kiwi cafe that knows bread and breakfast European style. Not that I could have any (bread, croissants et ) 'cos I'm a coeliac, but could still appreciate its ambience and expertise. My coffee was good.

S.It is not France but they try hard. Good selection of pastries, croissant and sandwiches. Good for breakfast and to stock up for snacks to take on hikes or other outdoor activities. Staff friendly.
M.Very good place for lunch. The food is delicious. Chowder is amazing. Tables outside I think need new clothes.
J.Perfect spot under the trees. Staff should remember always to keep cashier area tidy and uncluttered and always keep attention to tables being wiped and cleared promptly. This will ensure more five star experiences. I'm giving five stars for outside for the warm atmosphere with beautiful purple boanvillia flower. Inside, no more comment. Definitely the place to come on a beautiful day.
M.A godsend. Welcoming staff, top shelf coffee, pan au chocolate to rival Paris and crepes to keep the kids happy!
M.I really enjoyed the coffee and there was a bit of a collection of croissants and bites. Only had morning tea there but there was a menu for food. Indoor and outdoor seating. Only annoying about the outdoor is the sparrows flying around but this is a thing about all outdoor places. But its plenty of room and good staff
J.Coffee was great! The pastry's were next level delicious and the panini was on eof the best I've had! Great service all around, would highly reccomend to enjoy a coffee here out in the sun.

A.Came here twice. The server that we had was absolutely lovely, she even made up a sandwich for us when all the sandwiches on offer were sold out.
She was very attentive and asked us a few times whether we'd like dressing with our sandwich and whether we'd like any other sauces.
The sandwich itself was HUGE and FULL of all the good stuff I'd ordered and the price of this was so good compared to some of the other places in the area.
Definitely a highlight of Akaroa as far as food is concerned.

J.Get in quick if you want to be spoilt for choice! We popped in for an afternoon treat on a particularly stunning day. No surprises, a lot of others had the same idea resulting in many of the delights having already been snapped up! We would definitely come back here again :)
K.Limited food selection, asked for an omelette but wasn't allowed! Muffin was disgusting and panini was lukewarm. Served by someone constantly chewing gum very visibily in front of customers.
W.Great friendly service. Fish chowder was brilliant and so were the foot long chicken sandwiches. Coffee was good. And it was hot!

W.Nice little restaurant with great fresh baked goods and wonderful bread. Take out or eat in. Friendly people here as everywhere in this town. Can be very busy at peak hours Asia very popular. Don't miss it.

Thank you sooo much for getting an order for 5 savoury pies and 5 tarts and 5 hot drinks ready for my clients as they rushed through between e biking and swimming with the dolphins....... life savers ! The feed back was quote the best pies they have ever had !

That's why we came here for breakfast and I must say that the food tasted great and the coffee was delicious in the morning. We turned to pancakes there several times. Během pobytu mé dovolené v létě na Novém Zélandu mi byla doporučena tato restaurace. Proto jsme sem zašli na snídani a musím říct, že jídlo mi skvěle chutnalo a kávička byla vynikající po ránu. Několikrát jsme se tam otočili i na palačinky. Moc příjemná obsluha a nádherné prostředí, především květiny. I já vám doporučuji tuto restauraci s příjemným posezením.
