Reviews of Vic's Bakehouse
L.Nothing is mediocre in Vic’s Bakehouse. Their cinnamon bun is exceptionally satisfying...I love how it combines coffee cream on the top and soft, spongy bun in the middle with sticky and buttery bottom. Such rich textures n flavours I’ve rarely tasted in NZ...Wish I could live in Chch and next door to Vic’s😭
R.There is a reason this place has such great reviews, it is easily one of the best bakeries in Christchurch. Each day they serve up a different selection of baked foods. My favourites are the cinnamon buns and éclairs. The bread is amazing. My only minor gripe is that sometimes the staff members aren't the friendliest, but definitely not rude. Would go back for the food regardless, it's that good
J.A colleague brought (and bought) me one of their cinnamon buns... Wow! I'm not a big coffee fan so believe me when I say, even though these have a coffee icing, they are STILL worth five stars! I can't wait to get into the bakehouse myself and see what other delicious baked goods fill the shelves!
N.I go in here fairly frequently and the bread is consistently really good. They have a massive selection of different breads. My favourite is the almond croissant, and the coffee is an added bonus.
