H.We stopped off one day to visit Cake Lab a few months before our wedding. By chance Daria was there and from that point onwards, Daria was amazing. We decided on the 3 tier vanilla and berry cake, and it was a huge hit at our wedding. It was light and moist, with plenty of icing and cream and just perfect for a hot summer wedding. A number of our guests complimented on just how delicious the cake was. We highly recommend Cake Lab. Thanks Daria!
F.I contacted Daria to create my wedding cake. Wow, was I impressed! I hadn’t been able to find an image of the cake that I wanted, so I tried my best to describe to her what I wanted. She was really helpful and very quick to communicate with me. The cake that was delivered on the day was spectacular! It was absolutely beautiful, and much to my delight, matched my flowers exactly, even though I hadn't told Daria about my flowers. I thought that maybe she had been in touch with my florist without my knowledge, but no – she just did a great job of bringing my vision to life.
The cake was hugely delicious. All my wedding guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. We had Daria’s popular honey cake on the bottom tier, and the berry and cream flavour in the top tier. I loved them both and will be looking for an excuse to order a bespoke cake from Daria again soon. I felt that her pricing was more than reasonable – really superb value. I highly recommend CakeLabNZ.
J.Daria is an epic human and incredible cake maker too. She was a dream to work with on a recent wedding, going above and beyond with minimal direction to ensure the cake was perfect for the couple in both looks and flavour, even providing options for those guests with dietary requirements. I overheard so many incredible comments from guests about the quality of the cake and can only hope I get to work with Daria again in the future. B.Amazing cake for my birthday! The owner did a perfect job and it was beautiful. She also made a gluten-free cake for my friend's birthday and it was stunning. If you need something sweet for your special day, get it from here!
m.Simply the best for beautiful and delicious cakes and baking, including dairy free and vegan. My favourite was the DF chocolate pinot noir cake you made us, just divine.
