A.Awesome little bakery with so much variety. The first time I went in here the owner was very helpful with all my allergy concerns. I was even able to make a suggestion (via my dad) and asked if it was possible to get shortbread cookies without the chocolate drizzle and she made it happen.
My Faves: Shortbread hearts, Cranberry & White Chocolate Blondie, Glazed summer berry & custard tart, Mini Ginger Crunch. Delicious!
M.Amazing bread that doesn't taste like dust, stays fresh and soft for days and doesn't have to be toasted to make it palatable. Lots of other amazing treats, savoury and sweet. A vegetarian pie option would be super desirable.
A.Sensational hot cross buns! Perfect for our staff morning tea, and exactly how hot cross buns should be. We'll be coming back for more!
J.Top end Bakery, good unique product range. Personal, responsive and friendly service. Parking is extremely convenient. Not far away from Wairere Drive. Neat little shop tugged away in an posh suburb. Price is also at the top end but you do get what you pay for. We didn't give five star on this occasion is due to the fact the small size cake we bought very dry and hard on the inside, we followed instructions to leave it out for number of hours etc. Will still return but just not buying the same type of cake again. Highly recomended for others to give this place a try.
N.MARVELOUS! Being gluten free for 10+ years it is very hard to come by GF food that tastes good. Bliss bakery is amazing. I have been in 3-4 times now, getting different treats every time.
Everything is always delicious and beautifully prepared. On occasion I have bought things for a friends son who is GF and he loves it too.
Staff are always welcoming and pleasant.
Absolutely would recommend.
M.It's such a treat to be able to bring my ceoliac daughter out for lunch knowing she could safely choose anything in the shop - such a rare experience that us 'non-gluten-free' eaters take for granted. Great to have such a selection of both sweet and savoury. Beautifully presented and a nice environment to sit and eat. I could even bring in my takeaway coffee from next door which went perfectly with my berry brownie. Highly recommend.
B.We are visiting from Christchurch and were so excited to see what all the fuss was about. The slices we purchased were divine and very well priced for being GF. The store is clean, classy and the staff were so friendly. I'll definitely be back :)
M.Delicious. Tried the pull apart cheese and ham bread, selection of small tasters (muffins/tarts) and the fresh fruit tarts. They were all so good my husband commented that he couldn’t tell they were gluten free. I’ll be a repeat customer for treats such as these.
S.The food here is FANTASTIC!!! They have breads and rolls but also fresh sandwiches and pies. Their ham sandwich with their own bread is divine! I haven't eaten anything here that I didn't think was delicious 😍 Highly, highly recommend to all GF AND non-GF people ❤️❤️❤️
