H.Customer service should be better, the girl was on her phone when I was standing front of her face. The pie just pretty average really. I saw there are some people on Vic Deals says it's the "best of the pie shop in town", that's the only reason why I went to there. The steak and cheese pie was pretty salty. Overall just fine.
A.Jo's Pies offers a great selection of pies, sandwiches and other sweet treats, plus Supreme coffee on site or takeaway. Few seating indoors and a lovely outdoor garden seating area. A regular spot to get our pie fix and top up our stash of frozen pies in the freezer. So happy we have this awesome pie shop just round the corner from our house!

P.Jo's Pies, are THE BEST PIES that my wife and I have ever tasted, well worth the 40 minutes drive from Stokes Valley, and their sausage rolls are just as good!!
For those of you who are familiar with my posts, will know that I rarely give a 5 star rating, but Jo's Pies richly deserve each and every one!!
P.The pies I have had here are amazing! The beef bacon and cheese and bacon egg pies were super tasty, the pastry was light and flaky! Amazing!
W.Jo's is fantastic great pies plus the best proper Cornish pasty I've had since leaving the UK but you have to be lucky to get one. Never have been disappointed

P.Pleasant food and setting, and the attitude of the owner to odd requests like coffee in one's chocolate milkshake has improved over time. TBH I couldn't detect any hint of blue cheese in my blue cheese pie (marked X) but still pleasant.
C.Service with extra smiles nd assistance. The pies... so good😋. Highly recommend blue cheese steak pies. Soft meat tasty filling great pastry. Worth the price..new favourite place! My young adults enjoyed butter chkn as well. I hoped your business booms.

N.By far the best in the biz! Jo's pies delicious, wholesome and good value for the dollar. Been feeding Pies to the Brooklyn community for years, one of Brooklyn's best kept secrets. Steak and Blue Cheese pie, or hot chili are my favs!! Yum.
P.Definitely the best pies in Wellington, steak and cheese is amazing and sausage rolls are yum as well. Coffee is really good.

N.Great pies and sausage rolls. Decent coffee too. Not a big fan of the filled rolls which are a bit too bready and light on fillings. Sweet treats are delicious and very generous.

m.One of the two best pie places in Wellington, (along with Trishas in Island Bay), (in my humble opinion)! The pastry is beautiful, the filling tasty (I'm a good old mince fan, myself, but there are more gourmet options for those of an adventurous nature😉! They also do coffee & other slices/sandwiches etc., & the staff are always very friendly!! Indeed, on most days you'll be able to call out "hello" to Jo herself as she bustles round the place! Basically can't recommend it enough - & just for the record, no, they're not paying me, & no, I'm not related to the owner - just a very satisfied customer👍!!

A.Excellent selection of reasonably priced pies, pastries, rolls, toasties and breakfast beverages. Friendly staff & great service . You can tell this is a favorite spot for locals as many of them popped in for a grab-and-go breakfast and to say hi to the owner. Would definitely recommend!
N.Had a sausage roll and a steak and cheese pie fresh from the oven. The sauage roll was ok, but the pie was amazing - chucks of steak in a lovely slightly peppery gravy with plenty of cheese. Will be back in the very near future for sure.
S.I've lived in Wellington for 28 years, first pie i ever had was an apple pie when i was still in school. Thinking back now, i thought my pie virginity had been taken. If you have ever thought this and never been to Jo's, then you are sadly mistaken. I walked in like i had not eaten all day and the lady asked me "have you not had lunch", i told her i havent but really i was just trying to satisfy my pie cravings since my disappointing pie this morning. Flakey, buttery pastry all the way around with none of that nasty uncooked thick pastry, this doesnt exist with Jo's pastry. The texture of the pie gravy wasnt too runny and wasn't thick, there was pure meat in there, none of that carrot, corn, beans etc... like the pie i had in the morning, this was just mince with gravy and just perfect amount of lava running cheese, what i imagined as the perfect pie, Jo hit all the tick boxes. I ate half of my mince and cheese while walking back in to buy their last steak pie, equally as heavenly as the first. Only disappointment i experienced there was when i had my steak pie outside.....the wind blew away the buttery crumbs on the plate...... :(

J.Jo's Bakery in Brooklyn Wellington City has a complete menu for breakfast and lunch. Takeaways are available, it's vegetarian friendly and has indoor/outdoor seating. My son eats at Jo's often so when we visited I had to try it. These were the best meat pies in all of Welli. The smoothies and coffee are good as well. Worth a stop for lunch.
j.Nice small cafe with delicious 'home made' type pastry's and other yummy treats.Nice outlook onto a busy street or a lovely sheltered open garden area. Daily Newspaper available. Great coffee & friendly staff.
