T.When my barber Dave closed down in the current lockdown, I needed a new Grey Lynn barber. My first choice was Deus but I was hesitant to go there because they are too popular. I have taken my grandson there a couple of times and we had a long wait, in a really full waiting room. They were so popular. I totally knew and loved their work. But I also knew the wait. Then my daughter told me that they book now. Boom! Hesitation removed. I went online and booked. I went for my appointment. I already had recommendations from two of Hoshiar's current customers before I went so I already knew I was going to get quality work. Which was exactly what I got. Quality. Value. The best part is I know who my Grey Lynn barber is now. Thanks Hoshiar. Deus rocks!
B.My son and I love going to Deus Hair & Barber Shop. The service and quality of the cuts is always first class. They do a great job with my son and some of his more technical requests. There is always a steady flow of heads being groomed, but the wait time is never to long as they are fast at what they do! A+

L.My partner and I come here once every month or so for a cut. She gets a short cut from Arezo which always looks fantastic and I get my undercut shaved by anyone who is available. Always a treat and very well priced. They take walk-ins but be aware that it's a popular place and sometimes there's a bit of a wait. That being said the vibe is always friendly and it is usually only 15 or so.

A.When I was down and out, looking for a barber after being new to the area, I was so lucky to stumble on this gem. William and Hosh, the most humbly skilled barbers I’ve met, no wonder they are flat out most of the time. Real hard working, hustlers with a true craft for their art. Great value for money in the area and a friendly service guaranteed every time! Can’t recommend these guys highly enough!

The cut only cost $20, for the quality of the service alone, I feel like I under paid.

T.Really good actually, I'm not a native, so I was looking around for a barbershop that would be open to giving haircuts to black people, and as I, myself, am black, I was happy when I was welcomed, as the staff were very nice and laid back. The person (whose name escapes me, as I have since lost the business card) that cut my hair, was patient, meticulous in their endeavour to give me an amazing haircut, and the place was very affordable. I will definitely be going back there when I need a haircut.
