S.I’ve been growing my hair long on top and like to fade in around the bottom. I was served by Emily at Gents & Rascals who understood exactly what I was going for and performed a mint fade in - her scissors skills are also incredible, cleaning up the top. Highly recommend and will be a regular.
T.Got a haircut by Emily. First time changing barbers, as normally I get a low fade and not all barbers can do it very well.
However, Emily has a lot of skill and did a 10/10 job.

D.You pay a bit more, but it is well worth it. The cut themselves are good, and they work to what you ask for, and provide suggestions.
They do a good close shave, and to be honest you feel a bit pampered as you walk out the door.

M.I was hesitant trying out a new barber but Gents & Rascals gave me one of the best cuts I've had in ages. Josh is meticulous with his work. I'll definitely make this my local!
G.Booked Josh for a pre-Christmas haircut. Had left Auckland during lockdown after landing a job in Wellington. Got a cut at the first barbers I could find there prior to starting work, and unfortunately, they didn't do a decent job (in my defence, I was desperate for a cut!). Made an appointment to see Josh as soon as I got back to Auckland, he takes one look at my hair, and says "Don't worry, I got you". I have complete confidence in his ability, he's always professional yet easy to chat with, and when he says "I got you", you can absolutely believe it.

M.This is a great barbers. Relaxed atmosphere and plenty of friendly faces. As soon as I came through the door they let me know how long it would be before I'd be seen.
It wasn't long before my hair was being cut by Laura who was both professional and friendly. Great attention to detail on the cut and it looks a step up from other places I've been.
$45 is good value in my mind given the quality of the cut and the hot towel at the end is always a nice touch. Particularly given it was a long week at the office.
I'll be back again for sure. Keep it up team!

O.In my opinion the best barbers in town. All the barbers are top notch, Roo in particular has been sorting me out with a great mid fade and beard trim. A very talented young barber.
$45 for the cut and $25 for the trim- if it’s a cheap cut you’re after I wouldn’t go here, but you get what you pay for!
They normally let you know how long you’re going to waiting and the free hot towel at the end is a nice touch. The other good thing about this place it is in between down town car park and the commercial bay shopping precinct.

Easily the best service and hair cut I have had attention to detail was amazing. Hair wash after the main cut as well appreciated and hot face cloth on completion was awesome.
I thought pricing was really good for services offered and walked out feeling amazing.

S.I have been to this barbershop 3 times now and I feel like my experiences are getting better and better. They give a great fade, a good hair wash and are the best at styling hair. They also have lots of knowledge in hair styles, hair styling tips and hair products. Being open 7 days really helps! Thanks. I have definitely found my regular barber now :)
B.Exceeding all expectations! Done loads of review readings and research and this was the place we picked out of the lot. It’s been 6 months since I got a decent hair cut, 2 years since I got a hair cut I was truly happy with, gents & rascals really set the bar high! What a service! Walked in and sat down for 10 seconds and was instantly called to the seat. The stylist (sorry bro didn’t get your name) took me to get my hair washed and put a warm towel on my face, instant relaxation. He asked me what I wanted and I more or less gave him the reins to just do whatever he thought would suit, I had a dreadful head of hair. Feeling like a baller now! The whole hair cut experience was on flick. Totally stoked with the result and an extra warm towel at the end to wipe your face and little hairs really set the tone. Price is very reasonable, if you’re a guy looking for a #2 hair cut this is the place for you! Thanks guys! My wife loves me again!

L.Easily the best barber I've been to! These guys know how to deliver a fine, detailed cut and they're not in a hurry when they do it. I typically get a fade here and won't go anywhere else. It's a 20 min drive from where I live and more than worth it!
The staff are very friendly and $45 for a exceptional fade is not a lot!

A.After hearing through the grapevine that young Rupert provides an unparalleled level of service, I had to see for myself what all the fuss was about.
During my appointment today, I decided to test the young barbers skills by requesting the "surprise me" package. I can say that I definitely was not disappointed by not only how enjoyable the experience was, but also how quickly he managed to finish me off. I left feeling like a new man.
10/10 would recommend.
J.Michael has been cutting my hair for as long as I can remember. He knows my hair better than I do at this point. I drive all the way from Hamilton just to get a cut from Michael. I persevered through TWO lockdowns just to get a cut from Michael. No one else touches my hair but Michael. As you can probably tell Michael is a great barber and you can't go wrong getting a cut from him and his colleagues at this place. Also the amount of compliments I get from middle-aged and elderly women have skyrocketed ever since so that's a bonus.
