J.My first time to visit this barbershop. JR the Barber was highly skilled and well experienced. Friendly service. I showed him a my old photo of the haircut that I really want and Wow! Thank you for the great customer service. 😀
B.Pretty fast service were able to fit my son in after school last week and he chose a style he liked and they were able to do it for him. He was very happy with how it turned out. And the price for kids was great so I was a happy dad
a.I have been coming here since 2015 ..always top notch service and skilled barbers. I got a haircut in Jan and the hair were cut unevenly(especially the side locks) .. I thought a one off however I went for a hair cut last month and again on last Sunday - similar experience, the guy was rushing ....not at all happy with the haircut....
Spoke to Mal after this experience - His customer service is great and he is passionate business owner, he offered me to go for a free haircut at other Mal's branch.
Vivian is an awesome barber! very happy with my last hair cut.

I have been going to a new place for every haircut as I couldn’t find anyone for my taste or comfort zone .. found one or two good ones but not for this value.
My haircut and beard trim was done by JR ( name can be wrong: sorry for that), he did a fantastic job and man, first time i felt like pricing and service was bang on!
I think this place is gonna me regular barbers, since i arrived in Nz( more than three years now).

I would like to appreciate Fred who did my hair cut - later praised and liked by many people around me. Fred is not only an enthusiast and a friendly person but also he is an experienced hairdresser - the reason why you get full value for money (TBH, the professional fees are economical compare to others in town - $22 for haircut!)

M.Jacob's the man cut my hair explained what I want gone through fade was perfect didn't even need to explain too much he just knows what he's doing and reads your mind.
Coming back again next month and get Jacob to give me a haircut I am not even going anywhere else.

R.Great barber, never had a bad cut, I travel to Ellerslie branch from Howick area for peace of mind. I have tried closer barbers and only regretted it 3 of the 4 times. Yes Mal’s Scissorhands gets busy but that’s a sign or great workmanship.
