J. H.Hair cut just as I wanted, No#5 on the top and No#4 on the sides, - no part. Done by the lovely Diane with no delay for $16, eyebrows, ears and fudge included. Great value for a straight forward job. These ladies can talk on any subject, like proper barbers should be able to. I go there whenever I am in Greymouth and thank them for their first rate service. 😁

J. L.Men's barber store, but will do ladies' cuts by appointment. You can tell the place has been there a while, with the memorabilia it has, but it is clean and friendly. Unlike for ladies, you simply come in and wait your turn, no appointments. They are normally able to accomplish one person in about 20 minutes. Most elderly gentleman would tell them to do what the barber thought best and were fairly happy with the cut. Cut my husband's curly hair fairly. Men's cuts are very reasonably priced at $20, with less cost for children.

Located on the main road from Arthur's Pass into Greymouth, this place is convenient and CHEAP. A welcoming attitude and skills; they're making it hard not to come back for my regular cut even if I live on the other side of the South Island.
So if you're in the area and you are in need, swing by. They are well worth the price.
