N.I went to this salon as it is below my apartment block. I saw their prices were very good so thought I'd give them a go. As I was only wanting a trim I thought it was safe enough to try them out. When I arrived the man was cutting another lady's hair. He didn't really acknowledge me so I just took a seat. The salon itself isn't fancy at all and the man who cut my hair couldn't really speak English, so if you're wanting to have an in depth conversation about what you want then you may need to take a photo to support your requirements. All that being said, he washed, cut and blow dried my hair for $40. He gave me a great trim and added a little shape around my face which I was really happy with. I will definitely go back to this salon for my next haircut. Just remember it's cheaper than the average salon so you have to accept the language barrier and the not so fancy environment.
A.Lu is an excellent stylist, he was able to replicate a hairstyle from a photo I showed him. Got a great cut at a very competitive price with hairwash and blow dry included. This place is a rare gem in a city of overpriced salons!

H.My first time here and I can say that I am totally satisfied with the result. I actually booked another hair salon, which I often have my hair cut there. However, the soonest time slot I can have is on Monday so I searched up for another place with high rating and good review and I found 9AM. I booked online and the owner was very nice. So today, I came there and got my hair cut the first time there and I have to tell you: the best one ever I have been to in Auckland. If you want a haircut that looks like $100 one but costs only $40, then this is the one. The hair salon is quite small and does not look fancy like the one I often come to. The hairdresser cannot speak much English so we had to use google translator but he is very very good. His technique is superb. And plus point, he actually washed my hair before haircut. The hair salon that I often come also washes my hair but very quickly just to make it wet but with this salon, I actually got my hair washed carefully and it felt so comfortable. So, this is my hair salon from now on ^^. Thank you hairdresser! Just want to let you know that I am very happy

I was skeptical at first but after getting my hair cut, this definitely will be on my list for recommended hair salons. Quick and hair style was on point, hair dressed definitely knew what he was doing. Great value as well!

m.Very good haircut for a great price. Smaller salon so don't expect all the bells and whistles of the big names or fancy places but they did a great job and staff were pleasant and friendly. If you live in the area or are staying in the area worth a visit
G.I had been there last month after a friend recommended me this place. I received the most fantastic cut and style, yvonne was amazing! she helped me to decide the style as I was confused with two styles and they combined both the styles and came up with an "amazing style" just loved it :) The best hair salon in town!!

Had become too lazy with the lockdown, so didn't want to walk all the way to my usual hairdresser. Checked out the salons near my apartment and that's when I found out 9AM. Trust me, from the time I made the appointment with Yvonne till the time I came out from the salon after paying, it has been nothing short of excellent service. The hairdresser, my god, he's an artist. Just let him know what you need and then just sit n relax, n let him do what he does best. Absolutely amazing! Best part was the pre-cut and post-cut hair wash..😁
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a professional haircut without breaking the bank!
